sorry no wishlist thread to post this in but still wonder who else would want this other than me:
after going through insane amounts of work to make an "assiciation-in-progress" file each year that replicates what has ocurred in the real NBA season up until a specific date
AND
with the lockout well in effect, wouldn't it be nice to be able to pick up & play your association from whatever day it actually was?
instead of giving us those horrible 2kinsider updates with his reasoning... why not allow us to start our association on say January 3rd or maybe February 20th after the trade deadline & plug in all that insider crap with the actual stats & transactions that had occurred up until that day? (like the NBA today feature)
wouldn't it be fairly easy to implement this since all of that information is already readily available? it would keep us from having to start over our associations when things happen or wait on 2k to update things.
anybody else other than me that would be interested in this feature & can anybody say why this wouldn't be doable/allowed?
