triggers are fairly bad too. I cannot say its laziness, but it is an issue. I'd expect better from a game with at leat a million US dollar budget.
The playcall itself is a trigger, so say you run an Iso, and bounce outside, the game will not recognize it because you called an Iso.
This also comes down to how the game is designed. Its my opinion, based on observation, that the field has minimal "zones" therby giving us limited positional animations and more on topic commentary.
Zones, meaning the game recognizes it as a specific part of the field. The easy ones I have recognized are slivers down the sideline and back of the endzone, and inside the 5 yd line going towards the goalline.
