Wow people really need to lighten up around here. No one is forcing you to buy DLC, so if you don't like it then there's only one way to speak and that's with your wallet either by not buying the DLC or not buying the game at all. I've spoken with my wallet on a few other games that I don't like and it feels great.

The sense of entitlement I see from some is upsetting. 2K never promised legends online, so this would be a nice bonus, nothing more nothing less.

Cool.

I don't get why they're withholding info about key components of the game people have been asking for. Especially when the info can make or break a purchase for a lot of people.

A lot of companies haven't adjusted to the "age of leaking", so they fail at this. It truly would be better if they got out ahead of the leaks with all the info, but they seem to think digging their head into the sand is a good strategy.

first of all i wanna thank 2k for allowing us to finally use the legends online. many are happy now including me. secondly i cannot help but acknowledge the following posts because imo they share my thoughts...

I think this is a great move for 2k to get an idea how many customers are willing to pay for DLC. Think about it, if millions of customer buy this for $5, that's 5 million dollars for this. Now if 2K can get other legends like Barkley, and Miller, to agree to be in the game they have an idea how many customers may be willing to pay $5 for these players, or better yet for teams. I would pay $10 to play with the 98 Pacers or the 93 Suns...this could be huge.

You can play with the greatest teams offline in the arenas, and possibly not online?! That would be incrediblely stupid. 2k don't mess this up! The arenas, the colors, the court is all part of the nostalgia. If it is dlc that comes with a price, so be it. Just do this right. The dream playing at the fourm against lake show?! Online?! Are you kidding me?! Who isn't drooling for these matchups online in those arenas!
Cmon Man! Get it right!

As far as DLC goes, if I have to pay, so be it as long as it's reasonable (the price and the content). I can't wait to have this game. Maybe 2K can surprise with a Barkley, Miller and Iverson DLC.....nah.......but it'd be nice lol.

We have to pay extra for Legends online, what a joke how are you going to charge for your biggest feature for this years game. If I want to play a buddy online with these team I shouldn't have to pay 1200-1600 MS points to do so, pathetic.

Other publishers and game developers make players pay for content that should be shipped with the game all the time. EA and Capcom have both done this with recent titles. ****, Capcom is making people pay $40.00 for a title that should have been DLC (new Dead Rising title).

Yeah, but since we don't know if we have to pay or not there's no reason to be upset. Let's wait until the game is released first so we know for sure if it costs money or is free.

Supposing that we would have to pay, "I" would gladly do it ... at a reasonable price tho ... and I have been jobless for 2+ years.

People want 2k to adapt to modern standards in other areas but not in this one ... paid dlc is a modern standard for succesfull games ... and one that, if done right, could set 2k in a better financial position.

Given 2ks tendency for putting extra efforts for going all in, on the 1 year cycles, it could only benefit us a lot that they could be in a better financial position.
