    Trading Block

They need to fix the trade block. I can't get any offers regardless of what I put in there. my 99 overall QB for a 7th rounder, still no offers.
Player for player trades never happen in the NFL but player for pick trades happen all the time.
They just need to fix the logic and stuff.
In NBA 2k11 the trade block is great and takes age and everything into consideration. I don't want a system like that because in the NBA they actually trade player for player but they need to put something in where I can trade my veteran players who are still good when I want the team to get younger.

You don't necessarily need the trade block for that. Just scroll through the teams who are weak at whatever position you are trying to unload and then trade him for their picks. Sure it takes effort, minimal, but it works well

That's not the point. The point is, it is something that Should work on its own.

Here I thought I was just doing something wrong...

I put guys on the trading block and didnt see anything then I was able to trade them with no problem. We have to be missing something.

When are you trying this? I couldn't field any offers in the preseason, but once the regular season started, I started getting offers of 4th round picks for John Carlson, which I then added a 2013 3rd to in a trade offer and pulled off. This is all using the trade block.

I agree with this. Preseason, postseason, and offseason I get nothing. Even late season, I can't give away draft picks. Literally, I tried to trade a 1st for a 4th and nobody would take it.

Early and mid-season I can get some offers, it's almost like the CPU pays attention to the trading deadline even after you have it turned off.

Trading is only allowed through week 6 of the regular season (plus the pre-season and off-season), unless you turn that setting off.

You're not getting draft pick offers because nobody has room on their roster. All the teams fill up with those 45 F undrafted rookies.

Add like a 50 rated wide receiver to your wanted list and you'll get offers.

I tried 2 trade for Mike Pouncey, just so I would have the brothers, couldn't get them 2 budge. So I offered two1st rounds picks and Mario Williams who I moved back to DE so he was a 99ovr. Needless to say they rejected it quickly.

I traded less than that and got Mike Pouncey. The reason they might have denied you is because they already have good DEs. Salary cap could have played a roll as well.

Naw it was a fantasy draft franchise and i had salary cap off. Plus their DEs were ok but not great and no depth. Dont matter I dont really care about it.

The draft pick area of the trade block is broken during the offseason.

Also yes, if they dont have roster room they wont make an offer unless you ask for a player as well. And unfortunely when it isnt the offseason the rosters are generally full.
While i appreciate the direction Madden is going, i would like to know why i am paying $60 to be a beta tester.

They really need to fix the way trading works in this game. Two things I saw that wouldn't ever happen in real life:

                            1) You can get a decent FA (i.e. Shaun O'Hara) for cheap then trade him for a 1st Round/3rd Round pick (plus one bad player to make room).

                            2) In Week 6, you can trade your picks for picks of team in last place (For early picks in the draft). Not that bad of a play, if that was the only part to it. You can trade your 1st pick for a lesser teams 1st pick AND 1-2 more picks. It's ridiculous.

I'm surprised you guys are having problems. I put Marcus Stroud on the trade block Week 2 for a 3rd and 4th round pick and got three offers immediately. And Stroud is like 34 and only rated 84 overall and is Injury Prone.
