I could tell man, cause all I see in this article is another legend mode & a camera angle on which they making it such a big thing... & the users on here are going nuts over a camera?? damn.. saddd, still cant believe no playoff atmosphere was even mentioned nor pre-game or anything that has to do with presentation. Beluba new camera angle has you guys twisted... dont get fooled. Not hating but this article sucks

Everyone gets excited about different things. I understand your frustration but its not right to down other peoples excitement becuz ur mad. If your mad, cool but no need for the "Beluba new camera angle has you guys twisted... dont get fooled.", its a game and it seems to be a good one. Would we like playoff atmosphere and better crowd noise? H#@! Yeah!!! But it is what it is.

I am mildly disappointed that we didn't get any pre game, post game, playoff atmosphere... but the work they put into the cameras is looking Noiiiice.

Always been a broadcast cam'er, but the choice between broadcast stadium and Beluba might be a tough one.

Couldn't have said it better myself. A lot of us won't let things like that get to us and stop us from enjoying what looks to be a FANTASTIC game.

Some guys really get bent out of shape over a video game, a very good one at that. Just enjoy it, it's really not that hard.

They're having some marketing issues, plus their usual terrible performance. All of it just equaled a huge fail for what looks like to be a phenomenal game IMO. This game should be everywhere.

not to be one of the complainers BUT i am very dissappointed in the way we have recieved info this year & even more so with the info that we have still NOT recieved... i understand that it is a courtesy for them to give us that info at all but damn...

the facebook announcements were designed to get info out to the masses right? well why not give more info on the things that people truly want to know about & not the things that they will have to learn thru trial & error once the game is released... like custom music, association mode, CAP etc., etc

unless i missed something; this insight was a decent read but otherwise was info that could have been drastically shortened & added into another more thurough insight

I remember reading somewhere that 2k can't advertise with NBA players because of the lockout, players can't be associated with an NBA game. Thats why the marketing of the game has not been up to par this year

anyone else wishing that they just used a video to show this new CAM instead of... words and pictures? I'm pretty sure taking a gameplay video would of been faster than trying to explain it.

This. We should understand it's not the typical year. I'm sure there are challenges to promoting a game for a sport that may not even have a season; where they won't have access to the normal resources. I'd think it'd be a challenge for any marketing team, let alone one that isn't known for their marketing prowess to begin with.

Then making it worse is a portion of the community that seems to need every.little.thing. explained ad nauseum or they'll assume the worst, despite the obvious huge development effort 2K has put into the game. Regarding playoff atmosphere, I seem to recall seeing screens and reading that there will be differences to the way crowds/commentary is done during the playoffs but can't say for sure. Perhaps can ask the question of someone that already has the game, as it's likely someone who has had the game for two and a half days to have taken the time to sim ahead to the championship.

Either way, thought the insight was informative/nicely written. Looking forward to the unique stadium views; Beluba-cam sounds interesting. It was interesting to hear the writer say the montage that plays before games doesn't occur every game; in the demo I haven't gotten tired of it yet. They did a fantastic job syncing music/gameplay/emotion and reaction cuts together
