Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Played a Franchise game with Broken Tackles at 4 and Run Blocking at 20 with the current CPU defense and didn't see any huge gamesProblems even in play now games... Chris Johnson with -3 rushing yards at start of 4th quarter against jets... Hasselbeck at 21% completions... No
And I've rushed for 201 yards ... Sleep walking thru the game... Idk where these went wrong but they're kinda dunzo IMO...
So adjusting is all that was neededNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

I had one great game where the bucs ran all over me n held me under 100 rushing...
Then I stomped the titans.. C Johnson had negative 3 yards entering 4th QTR n I had 200+ rushing...Last edited by Chedapalooza; 09-28-2011, 07:04 PM.J-E-T-S

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
PM, which defensive player do you suggest controling? Does it matter? I play Peppers on the Bears and started off using the base settings. I think the sliders are great but something seems alittle off as I am getting too easy of a pass rush and the CPU QB is getting sacked left and right. So I switched to Human Pass D 0/25/50. The sacks are down but Peppers is still making it in the backfield quite easily. Any suggestions?Comment

you have to drop block shed aswell.....Block Shed + Pass Rush work together vs the Pass Block SliderPM, which defensive player do you suggest controling? Does it matter? Plus for some reason CPU QB's are going brain dead in franchise mode....But I did manage to get P.Rivers to perform almost perfectly when i took away both the INT slider and Reaction time slider. The only slider the CPU QB had to worry about was the Human pass rush slider.
So hold tight while i start working from within franchise mode as opposed to outside of franchise mode like before.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Gotcha.. So will it be a "set" ? Or will we have to Change multiple things throughout the year? Obviously changing the qba is fine with mostly everyone... Everything else you're working on I'm assuming will not need to be changed once finalized? That setup is too strong for the Human player because the Broken Tackles settings (10) and the Run Block setting (24) combined together over powers the CPU Reaction time
That's why Broken tackles at 4 and Run Block at 20 is a better fit your slowing down the running game enough for the CPU Reaction time to match up to it overall.
Plus for that type of tackle slider (10) you'd almost definetly have to go Broken Tackles 0 + Run Block 0 or 10 nothing higher will work.
Because of the revolving DPP in franchise mode there are few sliders on the Human side with almost definetly have to go back to zero settings with one slider per defensive category operating as the entire defensive makeup
Which means you could see Pass Rush at 74 with no Reaction time or INT slider being utilized or Run Defense using only the Tackle slider as the base setup
That is how much I'm afraid DPP and updated rosters weekly alter the sliders within franchise mode......
It's not a big deal.....just means i have to lower the total value down some more and adjust accordingly from within franchise mode. It has to be a setup where only the QBA slider and possibly the WR catch slider are the only settings that differ for the most part.
I am actually really liking
Rushing
25/25
25/25
25/25
Rush d
25/25
25/25
15/15
Then passing I am using
Qba-chart high end/chart high end
Pass block-0/0
Catch-54/54
Reaction-0/0
Int-50/50
Pass rush-25/25
These are giving great results.. Ive actually yet to win a game playing these..
I originally had human using low end of pass and making the total slider equal 75
Example
19
0
56
But I was missing wide open easy passes n throwing for like 30-40% (no lead passing might have been the issue)
So I switched human to high end and set the catch to 54... Seems to be giving most realistic resultsJ-E-T-S

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
If anyone is dealing with bad computer passing, up the WR cth to 68. I was playing Wash, and there qb in the first half went 4-14. As soon as I changed it, there qb went 14-21 in the second half. Playmaker, your idea of changing it from 60 to either 68 or 70 worked. I think you solved the bad computer passing game.

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Pm-
I know ur not asking me. But ALL of my testing is being done with the week 1 roster update... Before the very first
Game of the season... I do not update my rosters bc I ONLY play offline franchise. I never play online against anyone... I have yet to get into my franchise tho bc I can't find a set to play with lol. But I haven't been updating the rosters... That would OBVIOUSLY throw everything out of wack!! Lol . PLUS DPP does that for us already in franchise.. It's like a roster update for ur personal franchise... Idk y anyone would update Rosters of they want to keep a realistic franchise lol, seems counter productive to me and is obviously the reason guys are experiencing such strange results...J-E-T-S

yeah i saw that with Phillip Rivers aswellIf anyone is dealing with bad computer passing, up the WR cth to 68. I was playing Wash, and there qb in the first half went 4-14. I had his WR Catch slider using the settings that was posted in the QBA chart.
What i'm actually doing now in order to stabalize CPU QB's in franchise mode is use the WR catch setting to simulate their comp % with the QBA slider at 100 for all QB's
Now instead of changing QBA you'll just input their WR catch setting and it bascially works the same way accept the 100 QBA keeps the DPP from altering their ratings too much week to weekNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
:/ is that really the best way to differentiate between qb's? I feel like changing the acc n having a SET catch is the best way to go.. Otherwise you start to affect the wr stats, as well as the wr ability to fight for the ball which could lead to more ints than normal...yeah i saw that with Phillip Rivers aswell

How come other sliders have set numbers for everything and they're all yielding fine results? Just playing devils advocate here... But isn't the dpp n ratings already installed in the game enough to make players play as they should? :/ maybe you could develop an umbrella, like All qbs with x accuracy play at x slider... Grouping the qbs into a solid set number ranging from say 60-90 or 60-100.... I just think th CPU responds funny to constant changes...
*****You also CANNOT do it in game. Before every franchise game you must quit franchise, switch for your opponent, then go back Into franchise. I wonder how many guys have been doing this!*****J-E-T-S
