I'm very happy with Madden 12. I just hope they don't break more than they fix but I can live without the patch#2 if it becomes a problem.

Honestly, if us PS3 uders don't get a grass/field/turf update on dome teams and in the shadows, its just plain rediculous. We paid $60, and there is no reason we should have such a inferior game. In fact, forget inferior, it's just plain bad no matter if there is nothing to compare it too.


As a side note, you know what I find funny? Ever year some people say maybe the xbox 360 is just better graphically, and the ps3 just can't do it. But the following year both xbox 360 & PS3 see's graphical improvements that tell both systems werent close to being maximized the year before. This never had anything to do with a inferior PS3, it had to do with cutting costs, poor work on EA's part, and what people are willing to accept. Just a thought.

frankly...there is ALOT that needs to be addressed. sorry but after about 20games, its the same ole madden bugs and problems. cant stand it because initially i was impressed with the game. but once you get under the hood, its a joke. although i must say playing with a friend is sooooo much better than trying to tweak sliders every single fringing minute to get the CPU to play OK, just OK.

Oh boy. Here comes the proverbial monkey wrench into the slider makers work.

Playmakers in particular who has developed a brillaint set of sliders and a QBA/WR chart.

I will hold off on any DL of any patch as I am not an online Madden player. I am throughly enjoying the gameplay. I hope only small tuning tweaks are made to gameplay if any.

To me it is all about franchise mode and the CPU logic getting a nice tuneup and fixing the player roles bug when you edit players. Custom playbooks are also not working and i have not even touched them.

Gameplay.....no complaints from me....no sir.

My custom playbooks work in my franchise. If you haven't touched them how can you state that they aren't working?

Like someone said earlier, they really need to fix rain in the franchise and COMMENTARY. NBA 2K team has already figured out how to fix commentary through patches, but of course, they actually put maximum effort into their games. EA clearly isn't trying anymore. I'm sick of hearing my Titans called the "New York Titans" during the coin toss and hearing "Touchdown Washington" when I score with CJ. Also, I'm sick of them calling Kenny Britt a QB.

Like I said, EA doesn't even try anymore. Pathetic dev team.

They need to add in game saves with the patch. Leaving my xbox on 24/7 is not a good idea but it is the only way to take a long break to go to work or sleep.

I like this year's Madden, but I guess I'm one of the few that's tired of the marketing hype.

This leads me to another thought. I never understood the concept of an announcement about an announcement. Why not just tell us when you've got something locked down? It's like Brett Favre calling a press conference to tell everyone that he'll have a decision soon.

Too late for me. I waited as long as I can, but with NHL, Fifa and NBA taking up my time I am going to Goozex this sucker for a Early Release token.

Even with a patch, I could see myself playing it fr another 2 weeks and hating myself for it. There are so many better games to sink time into, yes I love football over everything else, but this game......after every multiple hour session I always have that "I took the hot chick home and woke up with a walrus" feeling.

Can't figure out yet why so many people still buy Madden...

Madden football is like a rich guy that buys every possible lottery ticket combination for millions & then turns them in & makes a huge profit, is that really winning?? The published game is not their best effort; they haven’t even decided if they want to be simulation or arcade, at the end of the day I always hope for a great simulation football game but every year I get maddened!!!
