The warping and such will not be fixed until a new engine is put out, it isn't patchable. It's the ancient engine incapable of keeping up, that's why sliding is in and such, the game recognizes the player should be there but the animation and on the field isn't fast enough to keep up with it.

I really hoped they fixed a few other glaring things....

Like the player tendancy bug on incoming recruits and the zone coverage-option bug

Well it finally came out. Unfortunately my buddy got shipped to Iraq in the last 2 months. Never got to play another season in our online dynasty.

but isn't that an EA problem...Why would you make a game where the engine can't keep up

I'm having a blast with the game now. I'm sure the game will freeze soon and piss me off.

It is not overrated. Especially if you play offline against the cpu. While Balanced CPU QB's will sometimes scramble, they don't scramble nearly enough as the ones who are set to scramble. Denard turns into Big Ben taking sacks he doesn't need to by holding the ball too long. If he were set to scramble he would be more prone to take off when the heat comes. It is a huge problem imo.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

See that's not been my experience at all. It all depends on what defense you call. In my labbing, If you drop 8 the whole game, Denard is going to take off a lot whether he's a scrambler or balanced.

I hope they fix the option glitch where the defender just sits there frozen.

Delusional. Some people will stick up for EA 'til the end.

Really? The man said "in his experience". How do you call him delusional when hes merely reflecting on HIS experiences with the game? For all you know he is just as unhappy with the game as you are but just hasnt come across the same problems as you. I like this forum, but its getting harder and harder to come here and post observations and reflect on these games with all the idiots ready to jump on ppl and label them a fanboy all the time. Geez....

My intention is not to stick up for EA at all. Ive been pretty frustrated with most of the other issues like everyone else. I liked to play solo online dynasties but can't because I get the transfer fail issues. Even when I was playing my game would fail to upload stats to the online site (my whole reason for playing a solo dynasty online) because of issues with video highlights. Then the patch ruined no huddle offenses which I loved to do.

So even though I still play the game, this iteration had been aggravating for me just like all the rest of you. I've just looked into this particular issue and have concluded that as best as I can tell it's a cosmetic one and doesn't break the game for me.
