I did a player-lock association with my brother-in-law with the nets (27 games, Superstar Sim).

We traded Williams, Lopez and Picks essentially for Melo (him) and Wall (me). It was us and scrubs. The first two seasons, we didn't make the playoffs and were constantly in contention for league's worst record.

Through great drafting and trades we ended up with an awesome team for season 3. We made the playoffs as the two-seed. We beat Indiana in the first round 3-1, we swept the Knicks in round two (since we took Anthony), we came back from down 0-2 to beat the Bulls 3-2 in an amazing series. We were lucky that the Heat were upset by Philadelphia in round one, and the Lakers were also eliminated early.

In the finals we had the Houston Rockets and our starting center (Javal McGee got injured). Backup DeAndre Jordan stepped up and helped stop Yao, but I FINALLY had an easy pointguard I could abuse (instead of Collison, then Williams, then Rose), and we coasted to a four-game sweep. Game 4 was Sunday. Fitting end to 2k11 finally winning the chip after three years. On to 2k12!

I'm still playing 2K11. I have one game left in the regular season in my custom Association, using the 1990-91 Lakers. Even though I am getting 2K12, I'm still going to go back and play NBA 2K11, as I have to see that season through, and I'll still want to play pick-up games with MKHarsh33's and Portlandblazer's roster sets.

If you get 12, make sure you don't open it then, because 11 will be a drink coster for sure.

I'm giving my copy of NBA 2K11 to my son he is a big Michael Jordan fan an it's funny because Jordan retired before he was even born.

I never use games for drink coasters, my wife wouldn't allow it

I'm sure I will love 2K12 when I pick the game up tomorrow; I'm just saying that I will still find time for 2K11 to move along my Association there. I'm doing the same thing with MLB The Show; I mostly play 11, but still put 10 in from time-to-time to play with some classic roster sets that I have for that game.

After playing 2k11 for months, I thought there was no way in hell that 2k could top that. I was wrong. And at midnight, heaven awaits.

                              Im keeping 2k11

That game is solid, not perfect but it wasnt junk either

That said, 2k12 boasts of tons of improvements
