It seems to me that whenever I run through a hole, I get much better yardage if I never touch the sprint button. As soon as I press it, even if it should apply to "explode" through the hole, it's like an alarm to all close-by defenders and they all break off their blocks and tackle me immediately.

It really seems like defender's awareness is much lower before I press sprint as compared to when I hold it down.

Anyone else notice this?
