Right now i'm playing on Pro/Sim/12 Min. Quarters..

I'm getting WRECKED on All-Star. On pro, i'm getting realistic results, winning when I should, and losing games I should. I love the variety

Playing on Superstar. A level down from HOF. Using sliders I got from here with Real player % and Free throw %. And it is crazy. Played an association game with the Thunder v. Lakers. Westbrook went off for 39 but I lost by 6. The mavs offense is crazy on this game by the way. Don't let the ratings fool you
The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.

I use the same settings as you for the very reason you stated.

All star sim with some slider adjustments. Speaking of slider adjustments...it seems like players never get tired in this game. I've lowered stamina and fatigue rate to 40, and guys can play the whole game if you call timeouts. Guess I'll lower it more.

                      Association:
                      10min Quarters
                      Superstar SIM real FT%
                      Player roles off
                      82 gms
                      Team: Cavs

Giving teams a run for there money but can't finish them off..not enuff fire power..
but I love the struggle because I'm building a dynasty in the post LeBron era

On all modes I'm using Superstar diff. with 12 mins quarters. For the person that asked about scoring in my player. I don't know about others but i'm having one hell of time scoring on the AI lol But i like that i have to work to score. Most points i scored so far in my player on superstar is 20 and i had to work HARD for those 20 lol

Re: What difficulty everyone playing on?

I played 3 games last night on pro, and I got my butt handed to me every game. At this point I am not good at all. To many bad habits from last year, I guess.

I will just have to practice. Playing defense is just killing me. I re-read the insight this morning at work so I will try it tonight when I get some time to play.

I hope it stays this hard because I enjoy having to really work to get a win, I hope I get that win soon.

all star/sim 12 min. CPU is really good.I picked the 88-89Bulls and went against the 94-95 Magic. We were going at each other throughout the whole quarter but the final score was 127:121 with Orlando's victory. I scored 69pts 9ast 5reb 0blk 5stl 2to with 88-89MJ. I was pretty satisfied with the result though since all the Bulls players were scrubs besides MJ and the 94-95Magic was much stronger team.

Re: What difficulty everyone playing on?

I'm struggling to find a difficulty.

I've played three games on Pro (either Sim or Default) and they all play out the same. The computer is competitive in the 1st quarter but gets dumber/easier as the game goes on. I'll outscore them by 4-5 in the 2nd, then 7-8 in the third and then the barn door blows open for me in the 4th. I'll win by 20+.

I play on All-star and can't even really compete. The computer makes ALL the right moves, they hit shots despite great defense or jacking up a long range shot/3 with a shooter who's not all that good, makes the perfect pass, etc. Even when I do something good they somehow benefit from it (ie: strip the ball away only for them to pick it up, spin and dunk it). I can hang in there for a while, but then they'll put together a big run in the 2nd or 3rd where my guys can't hit anything, including layups and it's a blow out from then on out.

So, trying to determine whether I should play on Pro and beef the AI up, or play on All-star and bring them down.
