Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Take away the Reaction time or reduce it down and your problem will be solved trust me...Ok just started a test chise for these sliders, since they change so much!
Anywho, picked the vikings, no fantasy draft but MAN did the NFL go crazy and release some players.
Polite, O'Hara, Starks, T.O., and on the list goes. Heck even the Seahawks released Tatupu. It was pretty crazy preseason. I traded away Greenway, Henderson and my starting corner for P. Peterson and The Prince to play corners then picked up free agents as LB's. All in all made the team way better.
First thing, the injury slider, if its any higher then 30 your screwed. I lost A. Peterson, D. Butler and one other for 8 weeks with broken clavicles. Then during the game lost people on consecutive plays for Qtrs at a time. It was just redicilous.
The passing game was very tight.
P. Rivers 24/39 for 291yds 2tds, 1 int, 7.4yp
R. Mathews 15/78yds, 5.2ypc, 4 btk
SD defense had 2 sacks and 1 pick.
B. Gabbert 19/32 229yds 1td, 1 int, 7.1yp
A. Peterson 16/54yds 3.3ypc, 2td, 1 fumbl, 4 btk
T. Gerhart 13/105yds 8ypc 1td, 2btk, 1 58yd run in 4th qtr 2 minutes left
R. Williams 4/41yds 10.2ypc
Vikings had 8 sacks, it was redicilous. 1 pick.
I love the sliders but I felt in control the whole game. Maybe it was just one game, but Ill go back and play it again a few times and post results.

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
nope all your doing is reversing the settings.....PM, right now the cpu block shed slider is set at 10 and the cpu tack is set at 20. You want me to reverse them so cpu block shed would be 20 and cpu tack would be 10? Would'nt that increase the cpu pass rush if I set there block shed to 20? PM, can you give me some numbers to work with?
you'd be surpised how some settings work if reversed like the Block Shed slider and Tackle slider
Heck you could even play with Human Tackle slider at 20 and Block Shed at 0
another setting that might intrigue you when i was testing lastnight
Run Reaction-24
Block-18
Tackle-8
That tackle slider will jump out at you but if you fall asleep at the wheel they can still shut down your running game
You can leave your fumble slider at 24 or drop it down to 0......
The tackle slider at 8 makes it possible to lower the fumble slider all the way.....CPU Run D is at even 50 points totalLast edited by Playmakers; 10-06-2011, 02:41 PM.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

My average margin of victory up to this point has been around 11 points and my largest margin of victory was 19. I'm currently 13-1 in my franchise. A lot of the games have felt really good and there have been a few that I've had to come from behind to win.
Williams' rushing stats are a bit skewed, as he broke off a 72 yard run, so without that run, he had 78 yards on 21 carries. On the season, Williams has 1,657 yards with an average of 4.6.
I had 5 sacks and the computer D only had 1.
As far as interceptions go, I went weeks 4-12 without any interceptions. I just started using the new human pass defense sliders (10, 22, 56) in week 12, and finally got my first interception since week 3 in my game against the Bucs in week 13. I got 0 in week 14 and now got 4 in week 15. We only have 7 interceptions as a team.
Also, I feel like I'm throwing too many interceptions. Cam currently has the most in the league with 18. I'm throwing on average 1.3 per game and I've only had 3 games where I didn't throw any. I'm not sure what to do slider wise, because my completion percentage is 71%, so a lot of my incompletions are those interceptions. The closest person to that completion percentage is Matt Stafford with 61%.
Any slider suggestions, PM?
Leinart threw those 4 picks because his accuarcy overall is terrible....
Even though he has a 31 QBA setting he'll throw more picks than Aaron Rogers who utilizes a QBA of 8
So i've seen the question askied a few times why does lower rated QB's have a better QBA slider than the higher rated guys and my answer is without ecplaining this over and over again just play Rogers under the current setup and then play a scrub with 30+ accuarcy and see what happens
The scrubs have terrible awareness aswell and most people don't think about that IMPACTING gameplay.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
no because i'm about to take the higher end down....
IMO it's no longer needed the QB's can function and function very well on the lower end
Probably even better than the QB's on the higher end.....
The lower the slider doesn't mean the easier the game becomes....if you balance it out right i see no reason to have that many offensive sliders above 50NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Use this setup for the CPU running game
Broken Tackles-6
Run Block-36
Fumbles-58
Then Switch your defense to this setting
Run Reaction-0
Block Shed-0
Tackle-20
For the passing game in terms of INT's even with the 22 INT slider they will throw picks you just have to be patient
But if you want intant results use the 2nd Option for Pass Defense I posted in the notes section
Psss Reaction-0
INT-32
Pass Rush-56
I've done a lot of studying of these sliders and both setups will render some picks if you stick with it along enoughNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
I'm still trying to find a better balnce right now....
But the current setup will produce good pressure some games especially vs lower awareness QB's who take coverage sacks or teams with poor OL's
These sliders are key sliders in getting sacks
Pass Rush + Block Shed + Tackle
I try to make them all equal the total value of the Pass Rush slider or close to it
The one thing you'll notice is with the Pass Rush slider lower it reduces your chances of seeing Defenders kinda warp to the QB......But the best pass rush activity is with the slider up high especially for those who control DE's or OLB's
The problem is i can't use it too high anymore if i want to keep the sack totals reasonable....
Going to be taking a break from the game over the next week (family vacation with the kids to Cali)
i'll try to figure out what might be the best balance for Pass Rush without taking it over the top....hopefully i'll have it figured out this evening if not it'll have to waite until next weekend when i return homeNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
I looked at it they looked pretty good to me....i don't have a problem with Williams busting off that one big run....his stats outside of that big run looked legit no need to worry about the running numbers.
I know you mentioned Newton's INT ration....
Try QBA-14 + WR catch-54
Then use CPU INT slider at default 50
I'm also thinking about giving the CPU a Pass Reaction time of 12 just to reduce Human Comp % just a tadNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
PM
OK so I understand pass rush+block shed+tackle combined effect the pass rush
You want those three sliders to equal CPU pass block 76.
Comparing your latest set with Mondays set pass rush is down 3 clicks 59 to 56
Block shed is up 20 & tackle down 16 now looking at the combined total Mon was
75 current set 76 so is the 1 point up making it that much more difficult or the 3 less from
Pass rush effecting it that much?
I'm do user control both DL & OLB don't know if you do while testing or playing
But the feeling is that something has slowed down my rusher isn't getting off blocks as fastalso I'm noticing RB & OG are much quicker in helping out a T that has been beat.
I can't understand what adjustment you made that has had this to me some what negative erect, the shame for me is all other aspects are awesome I just get to much pleasure in user pass rushing so I want to feel like I can get a sack now and then with an elite rusher.Comment
