    I can't understand what adjustment you made that has had this to me some what negative erect, the shame for me is all other aspects are awesome I just get to much pleasure in user pass rushing so I want to feel like I can get a sack now and then with an elite rusher.
    well that's just it....you said it best yourself 1-2 points make that much of difference now..

    We are at the point now where a simple tweak with this set can produce fantastic results on USER by USER basis

    My goal was to provide a friendly easy to tweak base set that plays terrific football...I think i've accomplished that goal.

    Now on a USER to USER basis a slight modifications may need made

    For example simply by applying those 4 Run Reaction points to your Tackle slider might get the sacks you desire

    Or swapping out the Block Shed slider setting of 20 and move it over to the tackle slider instead and that could result in you getting more sacks

    Another example of this is by simply reducing the CPU fumble slider down to 56 or 58 it produced results right away....it also seemed to effect the CPU's WR's being able to hold on to the ball in traffic

    So i think the Fumble slider effects CIT ratings aswell which is why i had it at 60 so the CPU wouldn't start dropping too many passes and hurting their Comp %

    I will make one last adjustment and see if that renders just a tad more balance on both sides....

    If it fails then the settings on the front page right now will be the Final base settings no more changes unless the USER touches up on things himself....

    Plus i can always answer questions without actually changing the Front Page...

    So the last update will come today to see if i can produce CPU fumbles and help present a little better pass rush....lower CPU tackle slider without actually hurting their run D

    If it goes south then I'll insert the settings back to the way they are now and be done with it....(I have to get myself started on NBA 2K12 sliders next week)

      Adding the 4 reaction points towards tackle so the run d would then be

      And the other possible adjustment

      Odd that the run defense effects pass rush

      BTW read the link regarding your interview I'm curious on playing with adjusted ratings know where I can find a re-rated roster

        PM i have a idea i am going to play a game with your setup, and what i am going for is stats, that best reflect the Cowboys season, and adjust from there, for example, Tony Romo completes 65%, Felix Jones only runs for 60 yards a game, 4.3 avg, sacks should be around 2-3 a game on both sides, so does this sound like a good idea, for instance if my running or thu cpu running game does not reflect the same results i will adjust from there, my only confusion will be what to adjust, i know in previous posts, you would offer help, i wish you could do a chart that shows in areas that would best fix the issues, any help would be great, have a safe trip.

          Ok i need a little help. Im using the sliders on the first page exactly how it is. i have the reaction time at 0 and INT 32. The computer seems to not be able to score. I have played 3 games and i scored in the 60's and the computer had about 1 touchdown and maybe a few field goals. Is there any way to tweak the sliders to make the computer better. im losing interest in the game. I want to be able to play good and close games.

            Great job, PM. My only request is that if any of your recent revelations mean that you may want to tweak the Page Two sliders, just let us know. Even if you give us hints (e.g., "...perhaps run block shed should be a little higher based on what I learned.") that'd be great.

              use the Reaction TIme 10 and INT 22 that should be your 1st starting point.

              if your really looking for a challenge then obviously you haven't paid attention.....Put the Reaction Time at 0 and INT at 0 you'll get your challenge along with some explosive passing by the CPU.....LOL!

                  Ok the CPU Run Defense is going to be flipped around

                  It'll be the following settings now

                  Run Reaction-24
                  Block Shed-20
                  Tackle-6 or 10......either one of these settings will work but 10 is going to keep you under 4.0 YPC most games unless you break off a big run

                  6 is going to make it an even 50 points total to their run defense and you'll see why it's not a bad thing to go with 6 tackling after i show the new Fumble slider for the Human player

                  That 20 Block Shed is basically going to represent both the Human and CPU's pursuit ability which you've already seen for the Human player even with the Tackle slider at 0 the CPU doesn't run wild because of that 20 Block Shed slider.

                  I know it looks weird and probably way different from any other settings around but I think if you can take away most of the the added boost provided by certain sliders especially for the Human player it'll stabalize the set long term with only minor tweaks being required.

                        Just had a very strange game.

                        Gave up 276 yards rushing to the Falcons, they averaged almost 9 yards per carry, but.....


                        I won the game by 21 points because they scored 0 touchdowns.

                        Also, i sacked Matt Ryan 10 times and had 11 pass deflections but the Falcons never turned it over.

Newton went 22-29 (75%) with 284 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Could Newton's awareness rating of 58 be a cause to all these interceptions?

                            My first assumption would be to just lower the CPU interception slider, but with the way all of these sliders are connected, I would assume that if I lowered the interception slider, I would have to counteract it with another slider. Am I correct?

                              no because the chart has a boost to the WR catch slider

                              every QB on the chart has a +6 increase to his WR catch slider

                              If i had went straight with the avg's the actual base setting would be this way

                              QBA-22
                              Pass Block-74
                              WR Catch-54

                              You'll see the Pass Block slider is at 76 and WR Catch at 60 on the Front Page.

                              So even if I split the 6 points between CPU Reaction time and INT Slider it basically makes it equal to the Human passing game.

                              Now if the User is willing to reduce his WR catch slider down to the appropriate number -6 clicks from his listed setting in the QBA thread then those changes won't apply to him.

                              He'll continue to use the original CPU Pass Defense at 10/50/90 = 150 total just like if you were playing out of the box at 50/50/50

                              But i think we've all seen the stats posted and do they reflect for many posters the additional boost up that way given in which i never bothered to adjust the CPU defense to match up until now.

                                it could be possible that Newton is basically HOT and you won't cool him off unless your willing to keep reducing his accuarcy down.

                                If for example Newton is playing with an adjusted accuarcy of 90 now in your franchise then the only way your going to get the results your looking for is to lower him down to QBA 10

                                In fact 10 is the setting that would actually put most QB's on the brink of their ratings because only Aaron Rodgers with default was capable of playing at max level below 10 (8)

                                So you might be in a situation where Newton has gained accuarcy points or his hot streak simply boosted him up.....in that case i'd go straight to QBA 10 and adjust the WR catch slider appropriatley

                                Pass Block-76
                                WR Catch-72 with boost....66 without boost the additional 6 point boost that was given to all QB's
