Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Hi, I really wanna use this slider, but im having a hard time understanding it.. sorry. can you please gimme the updated slider that you have? pls.. i really wanna use this..UPDATED THE FRONT PAGE NO MORE MODIFICATIONS
The USER can adjust the sliders for here on out and i can offer suggestions and advice without changing the FRONT PAGE you just have to follow the simple easy rules to tweaking
The sliders are set up on a value system while also using the QBA chart to seperate the QB's....naturally human influence and skill set can vary outcomes or results.
The Human passing game is using the chart for both QBA and WR catch settings...The CPU will always be = 176 total because their QBA + WR catch slider will always = 100 points combined together.
Pass Block slider is locked in at 76
Human Pass Defense on this set will be a total value of 90 points or less because once you start getting up close to 100 it throws things out of whack for the CPU offense because they aren't using the higher end QBA settings anymore.
That means your highest INT slider can only go up to 24 and you must set the Pass Reaction Slider to 0 when using that setting.
The base setting for the INT slider will be set at 16...The avg catch rating of all defenders at every position was 23.2 but i rounded up to 24 which is why that will be the highest setting allowed.
So you can test out combinations like the following to see which one best fits your defense....
Pass Reaction-8 + INT-16 (Base Settings)
Pass Reaction-6 + INT-18
Pass Reaction-4 + INT-20
Pass Reaction-2 + INT-22
Pass Reaction-0 + INT-24
The default Pass Rusher slider will now be 66....
If you wish to drop it just make sure you stay in the overall range of 90 for Pass defense....you can go below 90 if you desire but i wouldn't reccomend going above 90 total pass defense.
The Human running game will be at ground level zero....that's means 0, 0, 0
The reason for this is because the CPU Run Defense will be valued at 50 points total......they can go up to higher but never below 50
CPU Running game is setup on a system aswell.....it totals 100 value points
So settings like the following will be USER preference
Broken Tackles-8
Run Block-32
Fumbles-60
Broken Tackles-4
Run Block-36
Fumbles-60
Broken Tackles-0
Run Block-40
Fumbles-60
If you want to lower the Fumble slider just increase the Run Block slider the same amount of clicks to get their running game back to 100 total
Example
Broken Tackles-6
Run Block-36
Fumbles-58
I'm now mainly using the Block Shed Slider to represent ball Pursuit for both USER and CPU.
Some of you may find the Pass Rush too easy with the base settings. If that happens I would only touch the Pass Rush slider on either side.
If your getting too much pressure Just lower it down increments of -2 at a time that way you don't cause a dominoe effect
But keep in mind lowering the CPU Pass Rush slider could leave their defense exposed as they rely on a nice pass rush to compliment their lower Reaction Time slider.
CPU Pass Defense has a total value of 150 to 160 Max.....I would not drop them below 150
If you need to lower the INT slider this is an example of a setting that will work
Pass Reaction-12
INT-48
Pass Rush-90
Total 150
At it's highest level
Pass Reaction-10
INT-54
Pass Rush-96
Total 160
The Base settings will be what i chose list.....you can modify it to your liking. You just have to remember to keep it between 150 and 160 Total value
Ideally i like to keep the CPU with a +70 advantage in pass defense 160 to 90 but that is just my desired style of play.
Hopefully this helps to explain things for those of you have become confused during the entire testing process. I would highly suggest you save this post as a reference or guide to other settings that might fit your games better.
I will be out of town for about a week so i might not have time to answer a lot of questions during that time....but i'm sure there are others who have followed closely that can assist you during that time if needed
PEACE!
can you email it to me, or just here? thank you

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Since Rogers struggled so much using the QBA chart, I'm thinking about leaving every CPU QB i face at:
QBA - 27
WR Catch- 73
Saw good numbers with those. Also I have human fumble at 3449ers Faithful since 1985Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
I just got blown out.
Franchise, Redraft, full rookie roster, 4-3 Defense.
First game of the season at Baltimore, heavy rain.
Ravens 34 - Steelers (me) 13
C. Newton 83.4, 18/31, 365yds, 58%, 1td, 2 int, 11.7ypp
C. Ponder 45.0, 4/10, 118yds, 40%, 0td, 3 int, 11.8ypp
M. Ingram 21att 43yds 2.0ypc, 3 btk
AJ Green 9 Rec, 162yds, 18ypc
J.Jones 4 rec, 128yds, 31ypc
Defense had 2 sacks and 1 pick.
J.Campbell 73.3, 17/33, 244yds, 51%, 1td 1int, 7.3ypp
McFadden 20, 249yds, 12.4ypc, 3td, 7 btk, 90 Long
D. Clark 9rec 181yds 20.1ypc, 1td
V. Jackson 5rec, 47yds, 9.4ypc
Defense had 5 Ints and 4 sacks.
First I couldnt run the ball, as you can see with the 2 ypc avg I had with ingram, before this wasnt a problem, I will restart this game and play it a few more times to see results, but WOW I was stuffed. Then again this Ravens redraft picked up H.Nagata and rooks dont move him.
Passing game felt good, to a little to good. If I didnt make those INT's I would have done much better (duh). They were bad passes by me. Though it seems that the AWARENESS attribute of QB's goes into passing this year at least a few times a game.
Defense felt good other then McFadden breaking a few tackles then hes gone. I dont know how I feel about this, other then being a big fan of defense, I know guys can have games like this.
And of course I had to put 8 and 9 in the box to stop him the rest of the game, which obviously didnt work. Which left Dallas "Im gonna mess up your pass D" Clark to just ruin my new safety. I took Ras I. Dowling and put him at SS, which looked like a good fit.
Then Clark made him look like a kid.
All in a all a tough game, I wish I could have run better, but hey this is what I expected from an all Rookie Oline so who knows.
Will restart this game and play again and post results.Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Wow PM I am really enjoying your most recent set of sliders, the set that does not use qb accuracy chart.
I have also been tweaking auto sub sets again.
fatigue: 57 injuries: 43
QB 0/5
RB 70/80
WR 55/60 (receivers should rarely sub, mainly after big plays or long drives)
FB/TE 50/55 (full backs should never sub, tight ends should rarely sub)
OL 0/5
DT 75/85
DE 65/75
LB 20/25 (linebackers, corners, safeties rarely if ever sub)
CB 20/25
S 20/25Last edited by JayD; 10-07-2011, 06:50 PM.Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Beat again, this time by the FUMBLES slider! haha. Really just my bad, shouldnt have made a certain play.
Ravens 24 Steelers 20 (Me)
C. Newton 94.7, 31 of 45, 300yds, 68%, 1td, 6.6 Avg, SIX (6) fumbles
M. Ingram 21 for 95yds, 1td, 1btk - 1 Fumble cost me game
Defense has 3 sacks
J. Campbell 72.9, 7 of 16, 132yds, 43%, 8.2avg
D. McFadden 16 for 29yds, 1.8avg
J. Campbell 5 for 36yds, 1td! 45 yard run or so I lol'd at that
9 Sacks, 0 Ints
The 9 sacks are my fault, I held the ball way to long, and didnt get it out quick. But everytime Cam got hit he fumbled. It was beyond redicilous. Luckily he was running out of bounds for most of them or the game would have been much worse.
In the 4th Qtr J. Campbell drops back, I have everyone downfield it seems and he takes off, jukes out my safety and runs in for a 45 or so yard td run, was hilarious.
So 20 to 17 and I get the ball back with less then 3 minutes.
Run off to my right side and a backer comes up I turn to the sideline to try to find a place to cut it up field and when I do cut he hits me, fumble, run back for a touchdown. Less then a minute left now and I cant do anything.
The fumble slider at 0 is just to much I think. I dunno, will play one more time.
I dont mind losing, but 6 fumbles?Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
I was having a great time with these sliders in exhibition mode. Really great games.
Then I take them into franchise as the Seahawks - ugh. Naturally I struggle a bit on offense with Jackson but he seems really accurate all of a sudden. I don't have a lot of yards but easily attain 70%+. CPU teams seem to keep playing down to my level of offense - if I can only score 13 points, they'll score 10 or 14 or whatever and it seems really obvious to me the game has predetermined what type of game it should be (e.g. close win, close loss etc) and it adjusts the CPU play calling and skills accordingly. There was one game where I deliberately decided to really suck and wouldn't you know it, the CPU offense - the Falcons - was basically just as terrible, and constantly called stupid draws and stuff.
But I think that's a quirk of franchise mode. I'm beginning to think franchise mode needs its own sliders.Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Guys....DPP and hot/cold streaks is what is making franchise mode...AWESOME.
Any Given Sunday.
So it's not the sliders. The sliders IMO are great. And the amount of animations they are providing are fantastic.
I have received numerous PM's about the 10/5 update.
I will post them here in a few minutes with a couple of my minor tweaks. Now Playing on PS5:
