I've played two games like this now and it's hard to tell but the CPU have definitely been more competitive.

The highest "sub total" sets the difficulty in terms of all-madden or whatever.

If the highest is 75 or less - that's All-madden. When you put your catching to 50, you probably triggered a move to All-Madden. When you went to 60, you got to All-Pro.

As you noticed, the speed of the kicking meter is your indicator.

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders

There's no way he triggered this set into all madden ... Human pass block is 76... The ENTIRE passing sliders (acc+block+catch) mist equal 75 or less for all madden..

All the other sliders must equal 75 or less as well...

      The 4 total (passing+rushing+pass d+rush d) must equal 300 or less.

You can't come close to that without changing these sliders entirely...

The only issue i'm having is trying to stick with the no switch house rule on deep passes. Seems like my defenders don't react to the ball at all on verticals and the receiver (no matter who it is) comes down with it. anyone else having that problem?
No QB in the league fumbles 9 out of 10 times when hit. That statement proves the fumble slider at 0 is not good. If you enjoy it by all means continue to use it, but I moved it up.

Try this to alleviate the fumble issue without breaking the sliders.. If u raise fumble too much u will break them!

          Human run
          Break tackle-0
          Runblk-0
          Fumble-6

          CPU rush d
          Reac-24
          Blk shed-20
          Tack-6

These are PER pm's notes right on the front page fellas

it was the cpu...gabbert did it...at first i was all over it and was gonna get pissed that they didnt call it but when i saw the flag i said to myself "ok holding" then the ref said illegal forward pass and i was like "omg so freakin cool".....

now im dying to figure out how we can make the "non call" penaltys called again like off and def PI...i wanna throw my controller into my tv everytime my WR gets bumped and theres no call...

just thinking off the top of my head but wouldnt it be cool to see rookies make mistakes in the game? for example say you have a rookie WR, say the route hes suppose to run is a IN route...at the break, he breaks out instead of in and the QB throws a pick...that would add realism...say rookie FS/SS/CB...makes a mistake in coverage to lead to a wide open WR...little things go a long way

Alright well, I dominated the whole game, for some reason I got the QB like crazy, lotsa pressure and there offense had no chance.

                J. Campbell 64.1 R, 7 of 17 for 113yds, 0td, 0int, 41%
                D.Mcfadden 13 for 82yds, 6.3ypc, 1td, 1 btk
Defense had 1 sack and 2 picks

                C. Newton 73.3R, 21 for 32, 247yds, 1td, 2ints, 65%
                M. Ingram 23 for 118yds, 5.1ypc, 2td, 4 btk

Defense had 7 sacks and no picks.

Not sure if it was the sliders or the CPU giving me the game. But they could NOT block my rush and down Campbell went over and over again.

The two picks I threw were just dumb, dumb throws lol. Well the first was because my WR slipped in the muddy turf (it was raining hard).

Not sure if I like the fact that I beat them so bad. Will play again to see more results.

Games 2 of 49's season. I thought the game felt GREAT! The only thing I need to work on is so now i CAN get sacks... I got pressure and should have had one... but no OLB pressure. Aside from the big plays by F. Gore, I had realistic carry, same with the long bomb at half that Edwards caught the game played well with A. Smith. Also lacking, Romo throwing to Witten, his BFF ; 0 Took deep shots when had them, my secondary sucks but still had some deflections... Cowboys run game had a great feel, Jones I stuffed but Murray couldnt stop!

Just great game and soo close to perfect slider set. This is what im using:

                  20/27
                  76/76
                  50/73

                  6/6
                  0/40
                  50/52

                  4/36
                  25/25
                  66/94

                  11/24
                  11/20
                  0/10

Can someone please elaborate on what this means...

****SAME VERSION USING QBA FOR CPU ON THE LOWER END****

QBA-22/22.............(Please use lower end QBA settings for Human & CPU QB's)
So... Does this mean that we are supposed to use lower end ratings from the QBA Chart for both HUM and CPU?

If so then what is the chart all about?

The chart would seem to imply you use the low end rating for the HUM and the high end rating for the CPU but then I see this on the front page of the slider set

I love the sliders but Playmakers is killing me on the explanation!!!
                    I need some clarification.

Like you said, you use the low end qba for both user and cpu. Also, you use the wr catch slider posted on that for the human, but for the cpu you make the qba+wr catch = 100.

For example. Ravens (user) vs Jets (cpu):

user qba 18, wr catch 64. cpu qba 19, wr catch 81.

PM never changed the chart because it might still be a few people who prefered his old method of user = low end, cpu = high end etc.

All the other sliders must equal 75 or less as well...

                        The 4 total (passing+rushing+pass d+rush d) must equal 300 or less.

You can't come close to that without changing these sliders entirely...

Isn't the speed of the kicking meter dependent on the difficulty? I'm pretty sure it's pretty much all-madden since it moves pretty fast. Also, the sliders = 270 on the human side. How is that not "close" to 300 or less?

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders

I kinda liked the 10/5 sliders in the start of the game, but now with 4:16 left in the game TEN (me) 38 - JAX 20, there's a few things I've seen I don't really like.

The score is a little misleading as I returned a kickoff for a touchdown with Mariani, and also got a lucky touchdown as Nate Washington made a one handed catch off of the CB's helmet so really should be 24-20.

Anyways There have been way too many times I've seen my DBs just stop in their tracks, let the WR catch the ball and then continue their pursuit (looks so weird). Also broken tackles for CPU is a little crazy in the game, Blaine Gabbert going 5 rushes for 35 yards and 2 broken tackles. Other than that though they're ok. Chris Johnson having a rough day 22 rushes for 42 yards, but Hasselbeck has 387 yards passing

How does raising the fumble slider effect other sliders? Of all the sliders we have to play with, the fumble slider would seem to be the most straight forward.

Doesn't matter what th totalis. Each cat has to be 75 or under... If pass block alone Is 76 then this set will never be all madden.
