Hey Guys,
As hip-hop fan since 1985, and find that the addition of this song was done in poor taste. I'll even go as far as stating that music in video games should be largely instrumental with little to no lyrics. The "Beatz" revolution has been ruining sports games for over a decade.
No one should be subjected to hearing "WE PLAYIN' BASKETBAAAAAAAAWWL" 50+ times per month.
Song in question:
Kurtis Blow - Basketball
Lil' Bow-Wow's remake:
Bow Wow's song was a smash hit a few years ago for children in elementary school. It actually has 12 million hits on Youtube.
So my question is - can we disable "WE PLAYIN' BASKETBAAAAAAAAWWL" from playing every time I power on my PS3. .
BTW: Kudos for the addition of rap artist Skyzoo in the soundtrack.
[edit]
If we like the song or not, the fact that we cant disable it from coming on during the launch process of the game is the issue. The fact that it opens up with lyrics, rather than music makes it especially annoying. Also the singers pitch is ear piercing at high volumes.
How could we go about formalizing our dislike of this feature and request the ability to disable the song during the games start up sequence?
