Is that the same Robert You?
So I was scrolling through my wideouts in free agency, when I come across a 6'4", 200 lb. Wr from Stanford named Robert You. This caught my attantion because I know I got burnt a few times by a make a wish kid named Robert You, so I looked through a few old Stanford rosters, and sure enough, I could not find a Robert You. Does anyone know if Madden 12 version of Robert You is real?Tags: None -

Re: Is that the same Robert You?
Not only Rober You , But theres a new TightEnd which isnt in any NFL roster. I did forget his name, but once I get home i will post all the 15-16 fake make a fug wish foundation. I do understand they won and their wish was i guess to be put in the game but C'mon for the hole entier NFL season. I was hoping they be removed after the preseason games but no there still there and now new ones get add there the Brad Fulton safety whos no where to be found in any NFL database. Robert U , the girl QB , I mean for god sake this puts a bump on a real sim style Madden franchise, Is not enough we have to deal with the fake UDFA who all get a 310K lol. I mean I love the game but this fake players in the roster is getting old.Comment

Re: Is that the same Robert You?
Not this Robert You. He does not get deleted when you start a franchise. He is 6'4", 200 pounds with no profile. Also I think he has 95 speed.Comment

Have a heart dude. These kids are "inconvenienced" with rare and fatal diseases and you are burdened with having to sift through the roster to identify and delete them. Sorry it troubled you that some kid could be happy and immortalized in their favorite video game. Real classy. Not only Rober You , But theres a new TightEnd which isnt in any NFL roster. Re: Is that the same Robert You?
I get where you're coming from and I agree with you for the make a wish folks... but most of them are employees or contributors to Madden 12 in some way... or contest winners. (Hope Bromley has a facebook page where she explains it was a contest that she won that got her in the game.) I've got no problem with make a wish kids being immortalized...Have a heart dude. I do have issues with a bunch of Joe Schmuckatelli's winning contests to get in the game or EA negotiating a player profile in game as part of a business agreement with consultants, or allowing it's employees to become profiles in the game. The troubling thing is that it looks like this is a growing trend wherein it used to be 1 or 2.. and now it's 15-20. How many next year? 50?
If you want to honor a dying child or a fallen war hero. Awesome. Do it! I'll support you 1000%... but don't mess the game up by giving out game profiles as an employee morale booster incentive program.Comment

It's true, that guy doesn't get deleted. I've gone against him in franchise mode, it's lame.Comment

Re: Is that the same Robert You?
I don't agree with having them added , Given them some of the earning or pay for there treatments at the Hospital or send them on a cruise , Vac, Grand Cayon i mean there's many other things EA can given them other than just a video game profile to fug with my 60 + I've spent this year on it. I buy it every year so yes Ive made them a penny richer , Just like everyone else who buys it, Am sure Hope got it 2 weeks prior and din't pay for it. So there is there insentive... Get them of the rosters please,,,,LolComment
