It's not just the field, even the players, everything. I've played the last 3-4 Maddens on the 360, and this year bought it for the PS3. The graphics are a major step back and I was floored by people saying this year looked great. You have to zoom in ultra close on replays just to get the name to not be blurry on the back of jerseys.
This is not the case with the 360 version. Higher res textures, better zoom scaling, better lighting and shading effects. The 360 version looks great and the PS3 is a rough port. Still fun, but graphically weak overall, not just the field.
