Road to Glory Unrealistic Heisman Trophy

I created my Road to Glory player as a dual-threat quarterback. My sophomore year I finished 2nd in Heisman voting behind a running back that had about 200 more yards than myself. I was alright with that because he was Nebraska's (my team) running back. My junior year I won the Heisman by almost 1600 votes. My main problem is because of what happened my senior year. I lead the NCAA in rushing yards, rushing td's, yards per carry, and passing efficiency while being 3rd in passing yards and td's on a 13-0 BCS national championship-bound team. I came in 2nd place by over 1000 votes to a running back that had over 300 less yards, 5 less td's, and averaged 4 less yards per carry on an 11-3 Oregon team that ended up playing an unranked Missouri team in the Alamo Bowl. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you have unrealistic stats, then you won't get the trophy. What were your stats exactly?

They should give people the option to assign the Heisman

      It would eliminate this issue

I had about 3,700 yards and 33 td's passing and 1,700 yards and 21 td's rushing. If that's true it kinda bothers me, seeing as Bradford, Tebow, and Newton all had unrealistic numbers and won the trophy.

Well if they did it in real life, then it's not unrealistic.. I think your rushing totals might have kept you from winning it, but honestly you probably should have won.

Well clearly lol, I just mean that Bradford and Tebow both accounted for more td's than I did and almost as many yards. I'll just have to remember not to be so good next time.

              Tebow - Passing: 3286/32 | Rushing: 895/23
              Newton: Passing: 2854/30 | Rushing: 1473/20
              You: Passing: 3700/33 | Rushing: 1700/21

You had 500 more yards passing than Football Jesus and 300 more rushing yards than Newton... Not really comparable.

Pat White, VY, Randle El or Crouch even approached those rushing numbers, much less having both those on the ground and almost 4000 in the air.

Denard Robinson did it last season, at least rushing. Just because a player didn't do it, doesn't mean they couldn't have. How many games did those players get taken out of early? My team's defense was horrible. There were multiple 3 OT games with 50+ points. I'm pretty sure Tommie Frazier could've put up about 2500 yards his senior year.

On a different note is it possible to win the Heisman with a definsive player???

Im sorry but Denard ran 1700 yds and threw for only 2500, with a TON of high scoring games last season...don't even get me started on the number of TDs....

                          Unfortunately, I don't think so.

I've played a monster pass-rushing DE in RTG and in my junior season, I put up some truly crazy stats, like over 40 sacks, 70 tackles, more than two thirds of them for losses, 10 forced fumbles and 2 defensive TDs, 2 safeties. Admittedly, I played for Boise so I was facing trash offenses for most of the year, but still, I didn't even get into the top 5 any time that year even though I easily won every defensive award I qualified for as a DE.

If a player like that doesn't even get into consideration for the Heisman, then I don't think it's possible.
You gotta have Hope! (My Minnesota Vikings franchise)

After an incredible 2012 season ends with a Super Bowl win, Hope Turner and her Vikings are trying to prove that their performance was more than just a one-shot.

I was RB for Boise and i ran for 3300 yards and 42 tds on AA and this Utah QB won it. I checked his stats and mine where way way better considering he didnt come close the breaking any ncaa records. Dont you think you should win the heisman if you run for 3000+ yards?

Considering you broke the all-time rushing record by almost 700 yards, no.
