I haven't even downloaded the patch and won't until later in the week. But what did u guys expect? The announcing is not going to get fixed ...ea dropped the ball big time this year on that aspect t of the game. Mute the game or go play nba 2k11.

It's still "P Ryan Kerrigan" and "#26" for Roy Helu.

They never said that the announcers would say name correctly. I think that is something that has to wait till next year

The audio issues are worst when you hear pops which blew my speaker out

1.Editing Player Attributes in a current franchise is patched. I just edited Sproles in my current franchise and he maintained his Return Specialist role.

2.The Field Graphics for PS3 users. I am playing indoors right now and the field does look better I.E. not like there's oil spills all over the field, besides that there is no major graphical upgrade. The field still looks like crap up close.

3. Commentary, Don't expect anything big, almost all of the b.s. commentary is still in there. So far he has actually called Mark Ingram. "Ingram" so thats a positive. It also seems that the PA announcer is louder and the Commentary overall seems to be on time, instead of the announcers talking about a play that happened 5 minutes ago. Still saying things like "Brees has caught 90 passes this season" after Brees throws a completion.......

Something that may be a big issue to some people is the in game highlights... I just saved one and noticed before saving it that the replay looks extremely dark and un-polished. Sure enough after saving it I went in and played one highlight i saved pre-patch and it looked great went to the highlight I saved post patch and it looks terrible mainly lighting.


This is the first game post patch so if anything else pops up Ill edit. I am mostly checking the small things in franchise. The update is only 32MB

Try something out. Which ever player is not being called by his name go in and edit him. Edit his name to something else or change his position. Pre-Patch they were calling Martez Wilson some crazy name and I edited him to ROLB from LOLB and now they call him Wilson. Again this was pre-patch.

Checked 2 stadiums real quick (Paul Brown @ 4:15 and Lucas Oil with roof open @1:00)...and the fields looked great....no more "oil spills"

Haven't tried a night game in Philly yet (to check for helmet shine) to see if the helmets have a "spray can dull look" to them,so hopefully someone can check that out real quick.

N00b Q - where is the patch meant to download? Before launching the game? In-game, when you access online?

Haven't noticed anything yet but being outside the US may delay things.

It will come up when you start the game. It will tell you there is an update and ask you to download it. This will before you actually get into the game.

Are the lights better at light games. i found that stadium lights looked dull and not well lit at metlife stadium
