Week 7: Washington Redskins (3-2) @ Carolina Panthers (1-5)I think that Carolina picks up a much needed win this week. With the exception of their loss to the Saints, all of their losses have been relatively close. I'm not sure who's starting for the Skins this week, but I don't think they'll throw up many points regardless. Let's go Cam!Tags: None

Damn. Week 7 already. Well I have no idea what to expect from the Skins. Guess we'll know who's starting at QB later today. I really doesn't matter though if we can't get a running game going. This is a winable game, but with the Skins you never know.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

The John Beck Era begins this Sunday.

All I know is Shanahan better get this right because this is now QB #4(including Campbell)and if any other Coach had changed QBs like he has, I doubt they'd have a job right now.#RespectTheCultureComment

I think Cam is gonna go off on this Skins defense. And by that I mean the Skins offense costs them this one.Comment

Scoring doesn't seem to be Carolina's problem. All their injuries are on the defense.

Skins have Beck at QB and an OLine in tatters...I am picking the Panthers @ home.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

I don't expect (see: want) Beck to be in the running for "long-term answer" for QB.

It's not just Shanny, either. The Skins have had 21 different starting QBs in 19 seasons!

Re: Week 7: Washington Redskins (3-2) @ Carolina Panthers (1-5)

Looking at the runs that Vick had Sunday. I can see Cam Newton rushing for 100+ yards. Washington plays a lot of man coverage so I could see Cam having a big day. First time all year I didn't have the skins win. I don't trust the John Beck wobblers any more than I did the McNabb grounders

 24-17 Panthers.

At this point I don't want the skins to "Suck for Luck" but I would accept that they "Blow for Barkley".Moderator

Win or lose, every Redskins game is going to be close. Their defense is good enough not to give up alot of points, and their offense is bad enough not to be able to score enough points to blow anybody out.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

Yep, and during that time the Skins have gotten rid of Rich Gannon, Brad Johnson and Trent Green. Even Stan Humpries took the Chargers to the Super Bowl after he left the SKins. It's been a bad two decades of watching football for me.Comment

Re: Week 7: Washington Redskins (3-2) @ Carolina Panthers (1-5)

The Panthers need a win, although the defense has been pretty bad this year so it wouldn't surprise me if Beck throws for 270+ with a couple TDs and Torain/Hightower/Helu run for 100+ and some scores.

Ultimately, I think Cam and the offense do enough to get the victory and fall fall behind in the "Trade the #1 pick" race (they won't draft Luck if they have it).Comment
