BAP Goalie Question/Observation

I played around with BAP Goalie all weekend, getting a little better as the weekend went on. I actually enjoying it but just so I am getting it right.

You start out with lower stats with no chance at all of making it to the NHL team with the first 4 preseason games. Right now I have a 50/50 with one game left according to the coach.

You can only really start building your player or unlock the specials in the store by winning NHL or Club games.

Of which the former you will never ever get to unless by pure fluke of getting called up. I have seen posts on various sites that goalies have great stats and have been stuck in the minors for three seasons.

Playing with your player in the minors you get a couple of attribute points a game making it impossible to get better without dedicating a serious amount of time to. Level ups are a 200+ at the lower range.

So how in Gods name do you unlock store items to boots your goalie and how do you get to play an NHL game if your stats are bad and you are goosed in the minors?

Your stats are really low, which is why I purposely picked a team I really liked, and then purposely made myself go into the minors. It's only because I want to improve my stats. I'm doing horrible in BAP atm.

My GAA is what 3.41 and my Save percentage is 8.4 lol.

same here i always win at home but then i go to there arena i get blown out of the rink 13 - 2 or 9 - 0 like those are baseballs scores .my GAA : 5.51 , SV% : .410
but again there doing that long stretch pass and cross crease and one timer shot

I think the best advice here is to sim through a couple of seasons. The AI will win far more games for you than you would yourself and you then get enough points to put into your goalie and start playing for real.

Also - use one of the slider/tuner sets for BAP goalie play - you'll be much less likely to slit your wrists.
