He is not even ranked top 10 in 2K12!?!? He is currently tied at 14th.

The man wins a ring, carries his team, dominate the playoffs, prob played the best season on ball in his career and is rated a 85. IDC about what you naysayers have to say about "oh he has a 99 this, a 84 that.

I personally dont care about the overall ratings in 2K because their rating system is very very suspect, But not to presented like he (Dirk) should have in this years game is a disrespect to him.

Dont come at me with the he's unstoppable bs, I know he's a force in the game, thats not my beef, my beef is 2k could have found a way to rate him more than a 85, either by changing the way they rate players (my preference) or add something to the following ratings.

Lets peek at his ratings.

His FT could be higher (89)

His Layup could be higher (67)

passing could be higher (49)

His off reb could be higher (61))

He should be at least a 90.

His rating is what out is because if you change his position it fluctuates. In terms of Power Forwards who get higher ratings for Blocks and so on his ratings are somewhat average in that area. Rashidi is going his roster edits (Dirk is an 86 iirc in his and top rated Power Forward) but rates a 90 at Small Forward.

Also BSPN's ratings are hardly concrete when Blake Griffin is a top 10 player.

Nobody is going to change a ratings system just because a player won a ring. So LeBron should have been a 99 if the Heat won?

Overrating players in random attributes to make the public happy is the kind of crap the Madden team does. Let's not bring that nonsense to 2K please.

Stop w/ the Dirk stuff. Just rate him a 99 on your roster and be done with it.

The dude can't play defense.

I'm a Celtics fan. Paul Pierce won a ring and a Finals MVP. He should be rated a 99 too.

Also, if you're going on ESPN for any sport rankings, then we've identified the first issue.
