This is just laughable. Advertising paid DLC when the game has hardly worked consistently online, with limited online options and features from the $60 retail game.

To be able to play with classics online is the whole point of my buy ... thus given that I liked last year my player pickup games, doing so with classics and current players at their peak, sounds very enticing !

The price (if US$10) is also pretty reasonable when factoring the standard range for paid DLC and when considering that the additions will ehance the the experience with more modes and options (even if we were used to having some of them before).

Then again, I agree, its timing is very inapropiate given that the game has just been released and given the current status of the online (even after patch).

If the online servers aren't address then why would this be any good..its a wonderful idea, but it have to function right..if we have to wait 10 minutes to find online games or deal with framerate issues now just imagine how the DLC will be..hopefully it drops after the "KITCHEN ZINK" patch so what we paid 60$ for works first..

But it is a definitely buy if its functional

For $10 you can't go wrong. Jason Kidd and Grant Hill in their prime. Other players that not even in the game.


The only player I'm looking forward to is ALLEN IVERSON...

I'm gonna have to pass. If they add online leagues with full admin controls and lobbies back in. Along with editable sliders in the online modes, I'll be excited.

How will this exactly play? With the cel-shaded look I would expect dunks from the 3 point line......I don't want that since I already own NBA JAM On Fire Edition.

The only thing that interest me is moving the legends around without using that workaround.

I have a question that isnt totally clear to me based on the description they give-Can you take your my player to play online against other my players? or can you just use your my player against CPU controlled legends?

Because what I want is to be able to play pick up games online with my players like the last couple years.

Excellent, this is a good news!!! i really hope we will be able to trade some legend between other legend, or create all all star game team we dream about!!

With the legend Grant Hill and Kevin johnson i can recreate the all star game 1995, it's formidable!

Maybe Glen Rice (because he was in the old NBA 2k, Dan Majerle) maybe Latrell Sprewell, Derrick Coleman, Nick Van exel, Rick Fox, Vin Baker, maybe Reggie Miller and Rick Smith, Tom Chambers (sure), Allan iverson (not sure), rolando Blackman, Alex English.

And if there is not the jersey, maybe Charles BARKLEY? or young kemp!! Jamaal Mashburn with Jason Kidd.

1. when will this be released ?
2. is this totally on its own from the game its self? Would the game disc be needed..

I only as becasue if it is means in download into the code of the game and we can hex edit those and make them active in the game.....
