"Legends Showcase will be available this holiday season for $9.99 via PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and for 800 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

on a different note what I'm also confused about is the ability to do roster sharing with this upcoming DLC. So does this mean that we will be able to edit ALL teams and trade, release, assign players once we buy the DLC without having to do this in season or association?

Also they mentioned that there will be new players like George Mikan, Rick Barry, prime Bill Walton which is awesome! But does that mean we will get their teams too? And will we be able to use these new players offline?

Basically as it reads to me is that the online ranked matches and the classic quick match are 2 separate game types.

If this is true....that's exactly how I wanted it to be. Today's teams vs today's teams in one mode. The Legend teams vs Legend teams in another mode.

This is nice if I'm right.......

I'm not entirely sure how the roster sharing is going to work after this thing opens up either. But in regards to those new players, I thought I read those guys (and their jerseys) will not be available for use offline. From the article on Page 1:

Disappointingly, though, the jerseys and players that are added to the DLC will not be available anywhere in the retail game.

This is terrible. They tease us with the Suns jersey but we can't use it except in the Backyard Basketball mode. They take stuff out but now want to charge us to get it back. You can barely play the game online but they want us to shell out $10 more for something that might work half the time.

Im just wondering why the jersey's are being hid from us from using in the game besides the mode where we can use the players but not the jersey's

I'd rather have DLC with more teams than with dudes like KJ by himself

This is sad. Essentially they took out Blacktop Mode and have it to us for a charge. I am pissed. I guess many people warned us about where DLC would be heading towards in the future. Just hurts to see 2K doing it. I don't blame them, if people are willing to spend $ then charge them. I will keep my $ though.

So my question is this, would stuff like this already be on the disk or is it patched when your purchase?

The DLC is disappointing to say the least. As another poster said, I already have NBA Jam, so if this is in that same vein, no thanks. I expect simulation from 2K and while I know this doesn't detract from the main game modes, the fact that certain legends are exclusive only to this cell shaded street ball junk, ticks me off.
