I actually think the mode sounds like a fun diversion. My interest is surely piqued and I'll be buying. However, like most of you, I'm quite disappointed the legends and jerseys won't carry over. We're going to be so close to having the Barkley era sun-blast jerseys in the game (unless KJ's rocking a Cleveland or older Phoenix uni).

Still, one of the biggest draws (if not the biggest) of this DLC is the opening of the free trading between classic players and current. I'm trying to stay aware of my sense of entitlement, but I do find it sort of questionable to take something included in the a previous iteration of a game we paid for, then withhold it from the next iteration in exchange for a fee. It's like if the 2012 Ford Fusion came without passenger side door handles for which you then had to buy separately.
