Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
it should still be 0 that was my mistake.....
anyone who is fumbling too much should put it at 20
the only changes are to the base settings for QBA and WR catch for those who prefer not to change settings each week i put in the avg's for the starting QB's in Madden.
and added one extra difficulty setting for CPU Run Reaction slider so that now you can play against the CPU at 50 or 75 total Run D which ever fits your skill setLast edited by Playmakers; 10-23-2011, 11:47 PM.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
I like the way 0 tackle is looking overall. The game I played went well - the tacklers still made their tackles. The only thing I kinda don't like is that Grant broke a tackle on like 50% of his touches. It didn't hurt gameplay since he didn't run wild or anything, but it just looked weird from a stats standpoint.
And I'd be very much interested in 0 Block Shedding, 0 Pass Reaction - if only just to see it work in a viable way."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Quick Question. Just played a franchise game with my broncos vs the bengals. Had Tim Tebow as my starting QB and used the QB accuracy chart for his accuracy and WR catch. I ended up throwing for 296yds 1TD 2INT.Even being a Broncos fan, I know it is very unlikely that Tebow throws for 296yds and overall it just felt a little too easy to pass the ball. Am I doing something wrong with the sliders or did I just have a fluke game because it was the Bengals D or do I need to up the difficulty?PSN: ThatRick2k

yeah i'll need a few days before i roll those settings out for testing to you guysI like the way 0 tackle is looking overall. The game I played went well - the tacklers still made their tackles. but so far it can be accomplished i just had to go up higher on the Run Reaction slider....I'm up to 76 right now
So 76, 0, 0 seems to be somewhat effective for them playing without a Block Shed slider
For Pass Reaction I'm using the INT slider to allow the CPU to defend in coverage and I'm going to balance it out with a low QBA setting around 8 or 10 for both the CPU and Human
I actually kinda like 0 Block shed because guys with high pursuit and block shed ratings get to ball quicker than avg guys.....
i guess you could even make it more difficulty by maxing out Reaction time since there won't be a tackle slider or Block Shed slider in use but 1st i'm going to see if 76 is high enough to operate on it's own without those other two sliders being involved.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

you don't really have to change any CPU sliders on the passing game....Quick Question. Just played a franchise game with my broncos vs the bengals. If a QB feels too accurate you can just bump down his QBA slider by 2-4 clicks and that should get you better results
That way the CPU stays locked into their current settings and doesn't mess anything else up for you.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
long time user here, but forgot my PW so i had to make a new name...
anyway, please tell me if i'm setting up my game correctly. because after the first 2 or 3 games, this has become pretty easy.
i'm changing the CPU QB setting every game using your link, i just played the jets and i set sanchez's accuracy to 19 and his wr catching to 81. that's what we're supposed to do, right? the first 2 games i did this backwards i think and did like 81 accuracy and 19 WR catching.
i play with the broncos, and tebow's setting using that chart is 25 acc and WR 54. i basically dominate with him and i've only seen a few dropped passes through 10 games. currently tebow leads the league with a 65% completion, next is brees and rivers with 61 and 60 and nobody else over 60. doesn't really seem right to me. every pass i throw with tebow is on the money and the WRs simply do not drop any passes. he also leads the league in passing yards and average yards per attempt. not to mention his running abilities... 500+ yards in 10 games with 9 tds. but running with my RBs is almost impossible and i barely average 3 rushing yards. i haven't messed with any slider other than fumbles bc i was getting 4 a game with these settings.
is there anything i can do to make scrambling harder? make running with the rbs a little easier? have tebow not so accurate and have my WRs not play like hall of famers? i love these sliders, i have had a few close games and come from behind wins, but the more i play with them the easier it's getting.Comment

Your passing offense should be setup to equal 150
QBA-25
Pass Block-74
WR Catch-51 or even 50
as for running with the QB you might have to increase the CPU Run Reaction slider to 42 so they recognize him quicker when he takes off.....

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
Hello I am trying to get my franchise going and I'm still confused a little bit on passing offense sliders. I am doing a 32 team test franchise right now to see how the sliders work out for me. I see you put on the first page to use the lower end on both HUM and CPU pass accuracy. So for CPU Aaron Rodgers should his QB accuracy be at 92 and WR catch at 8? Or should it be reversed? Does pass block stay the same for HUM and CPU? I see in a post above me you said that HUM Tim Tebow's passing sliders should equal 150 does that apply to all HUM quarterbacks? I'm sure the questions have been answered many times so I apologize in advance...I just don't have the time to go through the 300 pages looking for answers. I would really appreciate it if someone could answer these questions or give me some CPU and HUM QB slider examples. Like what is Aaron Rodgers CPU passing sliders and HUM passing sliders (acc, pass block,wr catch) THANKS again and I know your tired of the same old questions..

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
I have a similar problem with the CPU running. Maybe I just don't play-call well, but Jahvid Best had like 8 carries for 92 yard (finished like 15 for 120ish) against the Vikes (me.) While A.P had 25 for 88 yards at the end of the game. It just isn't really realistic to me sometimes. And it all happens because Jahvid would break like 3 tackles (the ones in real life that everyone goes down from.)I like the way 0 tackle is looking overall. It's such a delicate balance with this stuff.I have a similar problem with the CPU running. Maybe I just don't play-call well, but Jahvid Best had like 8 carries for 92 yard (finished like 15 for 120ish) against the Vikes (me.) While A.P had 25 for 88 yards at the end of the game. Basically, if you lower the tackle slider you get interesting animations, but unrealistic numbers of broken tackles.
Blount led the league in broken tackles, and he only broke one tackle on 16% of his carries. That means run blocking should go up, run reaction should go down, and tackling should be set so that backs don't often break tackles.
I wonder if setting HUM break tackle up higher combined with a higher CPU tackling slider number will allow for first-hit tackles but also will help those tackles create more forward leaning yards, etc., so you get the forward fall effect of power backs without the ridiculous numbers of broken tackles.Comment

Re: Playmakers Madden 12 Custom Sliders
We all have the same goal in mind, fun realistic games. Not like any of us are getting some kind of compensation lol. Hope a few more guys can enjoy Madden like I am.
I'm likeing the run games for both the CPU & the user w/ these. Hardcore Allpro set on the Normal/Allpro/Realism sliders. Hope we all can enjoy M12 before M13 comes out, that's all. Sorry if I hurt anybody's profits from this
