Guys, I would be very surprised at this point if there was another patch. I just don't think it is going to happen.

I am pretty sure there will be another patch because they will want to patch up as much issues as they can then try to sell the game again for Christmas sales. Thats the only reason they are working on the patch now. If they werent interested in Christmas sales they probably wouldn't be worrying about a 4th patch at this point.

I am pretty sure there will be another patch because they will want to patch up as much issues as they can then try to sell the game again for Christmas sales. Thats the only reason they are working on the patch now. If they werent interested in Christmas sales they probably wouldn't be worrying about a 4th patch at this point.

I think .0001% of any potential sales this holiday season depend on whether a fourth patch drops or not.

Do you think there are moms out there that see NCAA 12 on their sons' Christmas list and think "wait a tick, I better check to see if any good patches are coming out for it before I get this."?

I don't think they are using OS as a resource as much as they did in the past the communication has been scarce. I know with Fight Night, all of the patches and tuners were tailored for the online crowd and they left the freezing glitch in legacy and pretty much destroyed the single player. I think they are most likely looking at things that are hurting the play now experience and I don't see alot of complaints on that front. So I wouldn't expect any major AI patching.

Actually a good bit of them do. I work at Best Buy and numerous times we have people come in and ask if a game that has been out for awhile has anything wrong with it or if it has patches to go along with it. People research stuff now-a-days before they buy things. So yes I do think it would influence future sales. Just giving my two cents.
