Re: Young players to build around
micheal beasley at the four with a solid center is a matchup nightmare, decent handles with range out to 3 and a legitimate post game and since attitudes dont mean anything in the game he becomes a beast -
If the heat could have somehow kept him with the big 3.. WOW!Comment

Re: Young players to build around
JaVale McGee, DeMarcus Cousins, and Roy Hibbert at center. I think after the first year of one of my associations, Hibbert went +7 OVR in the off-season. That could have been a fluke though.
Supposedly Ricky Rubio ends up in the 90s when he gets to his prime.
Tyreke Evans and DeMar DeRozan at SG.
J.J. Hickson isn't bad at PF.Last edited by djwax90; 10-29-2011, 04:07 AM.DALLAS 2011 MAVERICKS

Re: Young players to build around
Building around Evan Turner in my association. Currently averaging 21.4ppg-8.1rpg-7.0apg.
Traded Holiday with some picks for Steph Curry, Then Brand and Iggy for Al Horford. Then traded Young for McGee. With Brad Beal acquired from Draft.Comment

Re: Young players to build around
I would have to say Rudy Gay. This guy has been a beast for me. Avg 20 ppts 9 boards and 2 steals a game. I put him on Kobe last night for the first game of the playoffs and he completely shut him down. Held him to under 10. Zach Randolph is the king of this game too. If you have not played with him yet check him out.Comment

Re: Young players to build around
Terrence. Williams. He's damn good, imo. He can get to the paint very easily and has 90+ speed for a sf. Develop his midrange shot and its all goodNba 2k13 Magic Association
Tony Wroten/Mike Bibby
Arron Afflalo/J.J Reddick/Michael Redd
Hedo Turkoglu/Mo Harkless
Glen Davis/Andrew Nicholson/Gustavo Ayon
Greg Oden/Nikola Vucevic

Re: Young players to build around
Steph CurRY? that's not a young player
that's a young star
what is it you want? young stars to build a franchise around? young players who will be good/undheard of/diamonds in the rough to make a cornerstone?
hmm... in that case I have one name
Gordon "Who?" Hayward
insanely young, insanely low ovr 63?, insanely high potential and ceiling and definite baller
I found out about him only when he turned Free Agent and then I was like "Who the hell is this kid.." and damn, i shudder to think how dangerous he'd be under proper development (aka training camp points spent on his perimeter game)Comment

Re: Young players to build around
It depends on of you're looking for a team or just players. Like had already been stated since attitude doesn't matter try Super Cool Beas he can play either forward position and of you stock to developing him he can be a ridiculous all around player.
Paul George is nice and young and can probably play 1-4 if you focus him on doing such. Couple of ball handling developments and what not and you've got a stud all around player.
Wilson Chandler is already really good and still decently young. Jrue Holiday has got a lot going for him. Evan Turner has size and potential. Demar Derozan can finish will you've just got to work on his 3 point shot to death (I think it's like a 42 smh)
It depends on what you're looking for again you've got great places you can start.Comment
