the most recent update should be fine, at least on the xbox 360, I'm up to week nine with no issues. Make sure you have the most recent file, earlier versions did have some freezing issues, but most of that has been taken care of now.

No problem, check the forum board, its in the thread roster by rickster.... here is a link-http://www.operationsports.com/forums/espn-nfl-2k5-rosters/512950-espn-2k12-rosters-rickster101-11.html I think the last one I used was by rickster, on page like 12 or 13, this link gives you the one before that which dolphin26 posted, I really don't know what the differences are besides some rosters tweaks that you could easily duplicate and will probably need to due to the recent free agent transactions.

The last one I posted on that thread had no freezing issues. It had the season two slowdown issue, but at this point, that seems unavoidable.

I also don't know what Rickster changed since.

I haven't posted any updates since the last ones were up Oct 6th they're stable and have no issues as you've stated other then the slowdown which I haven't really noticed so they're fine.

I think you guys who want to keep current as to roster developments should take time to read about them in the thread and not depend on single post to get this info, another member has indicated he's going to post an update based on the current roster I suggest you read that fact and contact him for more details as he has posted this and made available for all to see.

What I have done is edit and add players to my version of the file which came from the one posted, I would think most guys would use that one to add players for their own preference and edit if they choose to do so.

I'm still considered posting an update but with changes in the NFL happening weekly it would be more work keeping up to post a roster every week and at this point I feel enough has been done by you (Dolphin) and myself delivering both a roster and franchise so basically our work is done, we've delivered the best and most stable roster to the community.

So guys feel free to add any updates to your teams as you see and deem necessary it shouldn't be that difficult seeing we've done all the base ground work for you guys and the roster is in good shape and has no freezing issues so you should be fine using it for your playing needs and interest.

The roster and its franchise file are posted also at the NFL 2K site that Dolphin host and has set up for ESPN rosters and software tools among other items of interest used in creating ESPN rosters so be sure to check them out also with other rosters listed by years and historical files.
