There are many issues in Franchise, especially if you import NCAA draft classes. Franchise is only playable with 32 team control in my opinion, as the AI struggles with draft, cut, free-agent, etc. logic. I think the main problem you're referring to is when the CPU cuts legitimate players and keeps undrafted free agents who end up being very low rated. If you control everything, you can take of that problem, just make sure you have lots of free time... -

It's not a bug, it's just part of the logic. The game doesn't separate real rookies from UDFA, they're all OVR? players.Comment

Like hardcheese said, make sure you have plenty of time. You'll need it to do everything for all of the teams. And keep an eye on every teams cap, they failed to input the rookie salary cap so those first round picks are extremely expensive. But if you're ok with spending a few hours at the beginning and end of each year to make the game playable then by all means get started. The game play is much improved this year, the logic is garbage though....Comment
