Fred Craft The world is mine

"Trenton Central High School"

It was the Beginning of my Senior year and I had plenty of scholarships that I received. But, I decided to accept Rutgers scholarship which a received in academics and sports. I've been the smartest student in my class since I was in Pre-K, I made varsity in tennis and basketball, I can play the piano,drums,guitar, trumpet, and I am going to be Valedictorian on graduation day.

I checked the list to see what homeroom class I would have to receive my schedule.

" Mrs. Barkley room 322" I started walking towards the building and as I was walking this beautiful girl caught my attention. Her light skin, long black hair, curves that was so jaw dropping, and those pretty hazel eyes. I was struck by beauty and a wall in which I collapsed.

People looked and started to laugh, I looked up and she was right their smiling.

" Are you ok?"

"Yeah sure, but I think I hit something".

"Your funny, Hi my name is Jenny".

" Hi name Beautiful I'm Jenny".

She giggled "No silly your name".

"Oh Fred the name is Fred".

The bell rung for the first class to begin.

"Well I'll see you later Fred Bye".

I watched her walk away she was gorgeous. I never kissed a girl or dated one, but this girl made me feel like the world was mine. I walked slowly to my class thinking this could turn out to be the best year ever.

“Jenny”

All I could think about when I got in homeroom was Jenny. When I got my schedule, I took a look at all my classes.

1^st Period English IV AP
2^nd Period Calculus AP
3^rd Period Physics AP
4^th Period US Government AP
5^th Period Tennis IV
6^th Period Basketball IV

After I took a look at my schedule I went into a deep sleep. I started to dreaming about the girl I met today outside. I started chasing after her but she just kept walking away . This was no dream at all this was a nightmare, I tried so hard to keep up with her but it was impossible.

But the sound of the bell woke me up, we had just got out of our homeroom class and we had to go to our fifth period class. I really didn't care, because I didn't have sit in class doing nothing.

As soon as I got into my Tennis P.E., I went up to my friend Tim Le, Bobby Felton, and Hector Garcia.
We talked about all of us going to Rutgers together and What we did this summer. The Tennis coach then told us to have a seat so she can call the roll.

I turned around to see if that was her, I couldn't believe my eyes. She walked in and told Mrs. Tran that she just transferred here. She looked back at me and smiled, she grabbed her schedule and came over by me.

“Hello again”

I just starred at her with my mouth open, looking at beautiful tan skin and her pretty eyes.

“Oh u mm Hello”

“Can I look at your schedule?”

“S-s-sure”

She glanced at it for a minute or so and smiled, she then gave me my paper with hers. I looked at it and couldn't believe that we were having the same classes together, we even had basketball together. She then smiled at me again when I gave the paper.

“I'm glad that we are going to have every class together”.

“ Yeah me too Jenny”.

"Tennis Love"

As Tim and I were practicing, my mind was on Jenny the whole time. Just starring at her beautiful skin and the way she move when she swing the tennis racquet, made me feel like I was in another world. The next thing I know, is there is a ball coming full speed at my head. "Bam"!, I fall straight to the ground.

"My bad Fred are you ok"?

"Yeah Tim I'm ok".

"Why don't you just go talk to her".

"Who Jenny, it's just that..."

"It's just what".

"I never had a girlfriend".

"Wow man really".

"Yeah It's just that I'm just to caught up in my schoolwork and girls don't normally come up to me".

"Just go up to her and ask her if she wants to catch a movie or something".

I told him ok and started to walk towards Jenny. I was so nervous, I was shaking so bad it was like a killer was about to decapitate me. I soon as I got up to her, I started to sweat bullets. It was heard for me to get my words out, but I just went for it.

"Umm h-hey J-Jenny, Do you want to go do something this weekend maybe like catch a movie or something"?

"I'm sorry I can't this weekend, but we can do something next week".

"Ok cool can I get your number".

She smiled and gave me her number, I couldn't believe it. I think I was actually falling in love with her. Tim gave me the thumbs up, I put my phone in my backpack and continued to play tennis.

"Breaking Dawn Part 1"

So it was about that time, my date with Jenny was tonight and it was going to be amazing. I headed downstairs and went in the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. My dad came in with the keys to his red ferrari and a big slight grin on hi face.

" Here you go handsome you may need this."

" Thanks dad."

" Whatever you do don't hug her she will run."

" haha, ok see this why I don't take advice from you."

" Whatever sinks your titanic son."

I headed outside, jumped in the car and headed to Jenny's house. When I got to her house my hands started to sweat as I let go of the steering wheel. I opened the door and walked to her house. As I got to the door, My heart started to beat fast and my legs were shaking. I was afraid that I was going to say " Hello is Fred home". I knoced on the door and waited a few seconds later a man opened the door. But this wasn't any ordinary guy, this guy looked as if he stayed at the gym and was a hardcore veteran.

" I-I-I-I-I-I'm here f-f-f-f-for Jenny."

"Calm down, I'm not going to be like those other dads you seen in movies."

" hehe w-w-w-w-why would I t-t-t-think that."

" hahaha I don't know kid, I don't know, "JENNY A YOUNG MAN IS HERE FOR YOU."

Once Jenny came down, I grabbed her hand and waved bye to the father. We got in the car and headed to the movie theaters. As soon as we got to the place I let her pick the movie. You wouldn't believe what she had picked.

"Breaking Dawn Part 2"

So here we were, Jenny, me, the popcorn and Twilight. I was excited for my first date, but the movie, kill me with a rock. I mean really what do girls find so fascinating about some pale dude that sparkles in the light. If you ask me this doesn't sound like no vampire, it sounds like a human disco ball, and that doesn't sound scary at all.

So after about twenty minuets or so, I yawned with me hands flying in the sky. I was thinking about putting my arm around her, but I was too scared to do so. But she grabbed my arm and put it around her anyways. I was confused, but yet filled with so joy.

The movie was close to its climax, and I was shocked by the suspense. I reached for the popcorn, but as I went for the popcorn Jenny touched my hand. I turned to see what happened, as she turned she started to blush. But she also looked as if she wanted to kiss me. We slowly brought our heads in, eyes closed, and our lips ready to lock.

" Nooooooo Benny don't kiss her."

" What my name is not Benny?"

" Oh my bad, continue."

We both shook our heads and we kissed, ending the movie and the best first date I ever had.

"Love&Basketball"

It was already December now, and Jenny and I were on our 3 month anniversary already. I was also six days away from our first basketball game. I bought Jenny a neckalace and was planning on giving it to her on our date tonight.

I walked Jenny to the girls gyms, so she can get ready for her basketball tournament, and then I walked to the boys gym for practice. When I got to gym, I noticed that there was a new kid practicing. He looked rather young to be playing with us, so I asked Jeff who he was.

" Yo Jeff who is the new guy."

" Sorry Fred I have no clue who he is, He was here before everbody thats all that I know.

The boy soon approached me with his hand extended to be shaked.

" Was up my name is Travis Hightower."

" Ummm was up, what grade are you in dude?"

" Oh sorry Im in the 9th, we just moved from New York."

I couldn't believe what I just heard, the kid was an incoming freshman and I never heard of him. Coach never picked up any underclassmen better yet Freshman. But it's something about that kid, he looks like I seen him before.

"Game On"

Trenton High Vs Robinsville High

The score was now 54 to 45 and we were down. I recieved the ball and begun to take it down court. I dished it of to Prince, he quickly got double teamed and passed it to Jeff. Jeff gave a jab step and went right, he was instantly met by another defender, in which he gave the ball to Dennis in the post. Dennis faked left and went right, then he let the ball go. The ball wnet through the hoop and it made the score 54-47.

Robinsville guard Manny Twain camme down court with the ball. He gave a couple of fancy dribble moves and got passed me. Luckily, Jeff was there to back me up and he blocked Twain's shot. Travis grabbed the ball and went downcourt with the ball. He layed the ball up for another two points and Robinsville called time with 24.6 seconds left.

Coach told wanted me to try and still the ball on the inbound, and shoot a three. So after we disscused our plan, I was thinking what to do after I shoot the ball, will I make it, will I miss, and if I do make it will I be able to make the next shot.

So after they inbounded the ball, I quikly swiped it from the player and dished it to Travis who made the three to pull us within two. With 18.4 seconds left Robinsville brought ball up court, but they were using up all the time.

Thats is when I stole the ball and I started to head up court. When I reached halfcourt, the clock read 3.2 seconds. I then released the ball and watched it soar in the air, the ball looked as if it was going to miss. The buzzer sound and the ball hit the rim. The ball took two bounces, and then it circled around he rim and dropped. We won 55-54, it was a crazy game and a crazy ending.

I quickly ran towards the coach and gave him a handshake. I congratulated Travis on the steal and the three points. Then, I met Jenny I gave her a hug and a kiss, and she told good job on getting the first win of the season.
