It's gotta be Braun or Verlander. Jeter/Lincecum/Longoria/Halladay pattern = batter =Braun. That said, it'll probably be Verlander.

What exactly is 2K's infatuation with pitchers gracing the covers if it's baseball games? It should have been Braun. Verlander has no personality whatsoever and looks like a 1950's era steelmill worker. Lame.

Spoken from a true brewer...verlander actually has a ton of personality. And steel worker? lol as if the hideous mullet braun wore was soooo much better. Verlander deserves it and everyone knows it.

Verlander has no national appeal whatsoever. This pick might just upstage EA's selection of that bum Hillis on it's football game. I ponied up the $90 to get the Hall of Fame edition with Faulk just to not own a game with Peyton Hillis on it. P.S. Tell Verlander to wear some pants that fit, that moose knuckle is ridiculous.

Steve Braun is fantastic. Too bad he is infected with whatever turns Brewer players into jackholes. I wouldn't want any shirtuntucking, wig wearing, beast mode losers on the cover.

I hope they had fun watching the Cardinals win the World Series.

Verlander is a good choice. I'd have voted for Chris Carpenter or David Freese, though. They were beasts that didn't need antics to play great baseball.

B3AST MODE Don't worry, the Cardinals won't be back next year without LaRussa and that thing on his head which claims to be hair. I'm shocked Albert Poopholes wasn't the pick for the cover with all of the fawning going on over the peak-at-the-right-time Cardinals. Hey St. Louis, how is that football team of yours doing?...Horrible? OK, thanks.
