In any event, when I tried to finalize it, the auction disappeared, but I have no car.

So out of some miracle, my auction finally resolved and I got my car, lol.

The dashboard clocks actually work.

Any chance they're going to patch race payouts? They're too low. I though they'd get up to reasonable ammounts later but it doesn't look it. I can't use the auction house and the highest payout is something like 21k for what looks to be at least a 23 minute race. The affinity payouts are good but otherwise it seems very difficult to get much offline.

I will just say that I play on a 106" screen and this game is freaking incredible.

The only way it would feel more real is if I had a steering wheel (and wind blowing through my hair.

I picked this up on Sunday after the BF deal and raced several races. I really enjoyed what I played and this is how racing games should be, all about the fun. Shift 2 was there, but EA had to screw things up with that cruddy AI. I love that all the cars have cockpit views which is awesome.

I picked this game on Black Friday and just got it today. Raced a couple races and really like it.

I saw there's an OS Car Club? I think i sent a request to join, but don't know who that goes to...

Wow what a disgrace. You need XBL Gold to get the VIP cars. I paid an extra $20 for the special edition already,I think I should be able to get them.

The auction house is handled extremely poorly. I managed to report someone's auction just hitting the button trying to bid again. I have to go to "recieve credits" and get my credits back before being able to bid again if I don't have enough. What kind of non-sense is that? Count what I have in there and what I have now,that doesn't seem so difficult.

I also always wondered why that online race at the test track that's easy money couldn't be done offline...there's no custom offline races!? That thing ends up paying out like $300k combined when adding driver and affinity level bonuses,most I've got offline is about $40k.

Though I was able to get my VIP cars thanks to the free weekend can't sell those either. I don't want a Halo car. How am I ever supposed to get anywhere? What piss poor design to have the only decent payouts be in an online custom race that you don't even play against other people for.

Epiphany! They pulled this crap to make people spend real money to buy the car tokes.

Good lord! They let fellow club members drive up auctions too. I also like how someone puts a number on it and charges 2 mil over in game price.

This went from good to decent to in the gutter to whatever's after in the gutter.
When I finish this I'm giving away at least my "exclusive taste" cars,I've got 4/5 now. But only to fellow silver members (or just one person maybe) since we really got screwed here.

Ahhhh good to hear. I have been having a blast playing the Lemans Series online with mixed classes. Talk about some intense racing. I will send you a FR.

When you have a good group this is by far the best way to race online.

This game is the only reason I own my 360 lol. My wife got it for me in November for my bday, because we would always play it at best buy, and it has turned out to be such an awesome gift. With as many hours as one can sink into Forza, it's well worth owning a 360 for.

Definitely the best racing game out there... challenging, fun, gorgeous, and at the same time VERY user friendly.

Yeah, I'm turning the corner (zing!) on my preference of GT5 to this. I really, really, really like the AI on CPU controlled drivers.

I'm considering joining a car club just for the hell of it - I am enjoying offline so much I don't care about online.

The cars are just sick... SICK. I'm completely in love with my Audi RS5. That alone was worth the purchase.
