Online, if your prob is offline you should just raise the slider and voila. Unless it's my player but I think there ลกhouldn't be a difference between online corections and offline in this patch.

You're using sarcasm with me like I'm some 2K newb or something. I'm 28 years old, guy. I've been around the sport of basketball for over 20 years, probably longer than you've existed on this Earth.

Common sense tells me that no shooter can make 100% of their shots uncontested. That isn't the case in real life, and that wasn't the case before the patch. The problem pre-patch was the amount of contested 3 pointers that were dropping. 2K's remedy to fix that has unintentionally (I assume) affected open 3's as well. Are open 3's impossible to make? No, but their success rate now is actually below what that player is probably capable of in real life. For this to be a "sim" game, that's far from sim.

      However...check this vid

Look how effortlessly Ray Allen is making these three's in practice. Now in a live game, he has two factors affecting his ability to do this in game: defense and fatigue.

So focus less on being a smart *** and more on seeing where people are coming from with their gripes with the game.
That is Ray Allen ... And there are not only two factors, there is plenty of them as momentum, good day, bad day, crowd etc. etc. Very few players are as relaxed on the court as they are on practice and yeh I know sometimes they hit even more on court but that's another story.

As said before, at least for online even decent shooters hit too much open threes in my experience. I mentioned Rubio in a game I had just now Lebron went 5/6. While I know this is possible it is certainly not so common as in the game. So there should be more balancing, maybe lower sliders for 3pt and even higher 3pt ratings for trully Elite shooters.

I just played a game online, and my opponent was 15/30 from 3 with the Sixers. To his credit, a lot of them were good shots and not force ups. But the controller responsiveness online is killing me. I can't play defense or offense the way I want because of it.

only one thing about this game. a whole mess game. what a waste for $60. not worth it. online is a mess, 3pts shootout until the end of the game. press the steal button all the time, defense is a mess.what a joke. this is my last purchased for 2k games. NBA LIVE is the best!

This game is on the road to recovery with this patch. It plays like a whole new game to me. Things are playing more sim than ever if you ask me. Yes, you still have the ******s that spam the steal button and hoist up the 3 ball as if it is a layup, but it is slowly but surely becoming the game we thought it would be at launch day

After the parch 1.03 It seems that even if you turn living rosters off, it remains ON !
I made many changes to the roster and I saved them, but Every time i come back I always find default roster...

Wow I didn't even realize this was a NEW patch lol

I tend to stay away from these large threads b/c it usually turns into a piss fest....but I'm glad I saw this.

Hopefully this comes to the 360 soon...I'm assuming there's no news yet?

The shooting looks a lot sloppier, that's all I can really take away from this patch tbh

Someone who is knowledgeable of 2k12 and patch 1.03 please answe these two questions:

                          1) Since I am not an avid online player, how did this patch help/afect offline play?

                          2) Also, if I'm curently in an association do i need to start a new one to play with the patch?

                          Thanks!

Even if the OKC, NY, GSW players didn't spam the mid against you (they most certainly did against me and believe me my D ain't half bad) the thing is the mid slider is just to high.

It's not about hiting open shots. It's about not being able to sag off players like Rondo etc, it's about playing perfect D on the likes of Kobe, Melo, Durant etc and them still scoring in the 50%.

Tried a shimmy shot with KG, or a fadeaway from postup position with Dirk? It's 80% shots. So when people find that out they just spam it. If the realization rate for mid would be just a bit lower (it was almost right in 2k, still a tad high if you ask me) it would force users to vary their shot selection. And that's what it is about.

There are certain stars that should excell in their perimeter game but not when you double or tripple team them.
good point but u cant make everyone less effective just because someone is spamming a players go to move. its just something you have to live with.

gameplay is better offline. defensive rotation is much better.

no u dont need to start over.

I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

i play offline on all star sim and i was having great games before the patch just needed to adjust defensive tendencies for players and coach profile. i was able to defend enough 3pters and was 6-2 using the jazz.
after the patch the mid range and 3 pt game is gone for me. it seems that i m bricking alot of wide open js. did they change the timing on shot release?
cpu are still able to make about 80% of their shots in comparison to pre patch.
a.i teammates seem to be a tat better on d rotation.
1 aspect that i think got worse also is the rebounding. off reb is pretty much non existence now ans d reb got harder i dont know why.

i have been 0-3 after patch losing about 20-30pts a game. hhmmm....
