They are getting your account info from the EA servers. If you've played any EA game, Madden, BF3, NCAA, etc and at any point registered with them, then your XBL info is linked. From what I've read, and had "Jacob" from EA support basically tell me, EA's servers were hacked, so all the info was compromised and there's an exploit.
I had the EA rep completely kill my EA account, so there's nothing left for me there. I never play Madden/NCAA online anyway, nor do I care about stat tracking.

Did EA ever come out with a
PR about their servers getting hacked and people's personal info being compromised? If not, they could have some legal issues...
