OA Thread - Please leave feedback

Hey all, in regards to OA and some connection issues that arose over the weekend:

Online Association issues from weekend should now be resolved. Anyone mind jumping in & seeing if you get the same "failure to communicate"?

Let us know if you run into any more issues regarding "failure to communicate"

IF you do receive this message, please leave your OA id/info and your platform.

    Thanks.

This issue seemed to arise over the weekend for some OA leagues.

This fix should resolve the issue. If someone is still affected by this, please let me know here

      Thanks.

Some games wound up simmed, any chance of opening the schedule and giving admins reset power again?

        I know wishful thinking...

There was an issue where 2 players yesterday had an issue with a game was being simmed due to the league advancing, but the league wasn't scheduled to advance for 2 hours.

This issue was not present on any of my OA's last weekend but suddenly it popped up today. Issue is not yet resolved.

Online Assoc ID is 47958. Could you please check, LD2k?

Do we have a workaround stuff here like deleting the local Online Assoc file or something?

Ran into another problem. With the Trade deadline approaching, another user and I hammered out a deal with 4 hrs to go. trades were accepted and awaiting vetting, but once the trade deadline happened the trades dissappeared and did not go through. No deadline deals that were accepted through out the league went through.

What OA badly need are Administration/Configuration tools:
                  - Sliders.
                  - Dinamic Schedule.
                  - Reset Games.
                  ...

That's keeping the most of the "old online leagues users" from enjoying the game right now...

                  Cheers! ;-)

Yes I totally agree with that,

but unfortunately these features are not patchable, or maybe with the website, but I'm not optimist on this

One of my Online Association still cannot be opened. "Failed to communicate to server" still popping up.

                      Any feedback, LD2K?

Something needs to be done about games randomly dropping. A few times I had a game drop then we went to play it again and one of us got an "error" at the starting screen and the game automatically sims.

I hope you guys know that if this stuff happens in playoffs it would be the ultimate game breaker. My OA has about 1 week left until playoffs. Please, please, get these connection issues fixed.
                        Lineup:
                        PG) Gary Payton
                        SG) '95-'96 Michael Jordan
                        SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen
                        PF) '95-'96 Dennis Rodman
                        C) Hakeem Olajuwon

Please give me the damn ability to use my own roster for OA. I am tired of 2k's terrible ratings/tendencies and forcing me to use it. If my OA wants to use a edited roster so be it... why should I not be allowed to is the question.

They took away options from last year, who are you to ask for more. :-)

There are plenty of people in stand by right now, they buy the game in a yearly basis just to play in organized leagues but man, OA is unplayable to their standard right now, and I can understand them (I have to say that I play mostly offline, so I can enjoy the game because I can customize and fine-tune it to my liking, my only gripe are the sloopy passes... but that's another topic).

But man, neither Sliders (this is essential to the Sim online community) nor the rest of administration tools is a disappointment, moreover, it is a Big Failure.

I know many communities which don't have any activity right now, if you can not set properly up the online modes (I don't understand why you could do it in older NBA 2k's, but not in 2k12) you can not create a worhtwhile simulation league, association, or whatever, period.

I actually hope these issues will be solved with the upcoming "big patch", not next year, that would be unacceptable in my view, even though when I like and have fun with 2k12 offline...

                              Cheers!
