WHat's with the lack of people showing up to my home games? I'm 4 - 0 and have been to the NFC championship two years in a row. I have one of the best young QBs in the league and the best defense in the NFL. My stadium should be packed! WHat's the deal here? Am I missing some sort of Owner Mode stuff that I'm not attending to?

We are in harsh economic times. I'm not sure what year you're in, but it's possible that things have taken a turn for the worst and only the elite can afford to go to NFL games. Damn 1%.Comment

It's been this way in Madden for years.
Heck; I even brought the Pats to the superbowl against the Packers and the stadium was half emtpy. In real life this would be an insane SuperBowl and getting tickets would be near impossible.
In Madden? It was a little rainy... and the stadium was half empty... It really detracted from the feeling of a SuperBowl.
I dont know why stadiums are often half empty, especially if it rains/snows. There are half empty stadiums even with big market teams. I cant imagine EA has it set up this way on purpose, or why they dont program post season games at least to always = sellouts.
*shrugs* oh well. EA Dev's either do not know how to fix attendance or they dont care. Its clear after being bugged for years and people complaining for years they do not intend to/do not know how to fix it.
Apparently weather and attendance are waaaaayyyy to difficult to program.... *cough* Horse-Poop *cough* Bull-Poop *cough*
Even though other sports games have functioning weather and attendance...and even thought it was in last gen sports games... Madden'sEA Devs cant seem to figure it out.Comment

I use the Panthers. I know Carolina's not a big market, but when small cities have good sports teams, EVERYBODY goes to the games. It gives them something to rally around. And EA should just make the stadiums full all the time, if they can't get it right. I would rather have a bad game with a packed stadium than the Super Bowl with a half empty stadium.Comment

This was a problem last year in Madden 11 as well. I don't know what happened but they seemed to do something within the coding to make the stadium half empty.
Now this would be good if they brought back Owner Mode and the stadium was half empty because of the team losing over a period of seasons. Half Empty for playoff games and constant winning is a shock, those stadiums should be packed like you said. This is something that needs to be fixed within the next patch but certainly something for Owner Mode and to represent how fans feel when your losing.Comment

This is what I've found and I think it's fairly true. It amounts to the players you have on your team. I started with my beloved Patriots and then made some trades that involved key players. Wes Welker, Danny Woodhead, Vince Wilfork & Devin McCourty all were traded away. By my next home game I had way less fans.
The overall of my team went up but it may have to do with how many high rated caliber players you have? Just my guess from the changes I made.Comment
