NBA Jam 2000 or the new NBA Jam?

Just wondering if anyone else still plays this game on N64 (I don't know if it's on other systems as well). I LOVE this game! Great, great, GREAT gameplay! On the other hand, player models are really lacking haha.

I thought about getting the new NBA Jam on the 360, but still debating. The big thing in buying that game would be, does it have CPU vs CPU like NBA Jam 2000? I guess I'll do a little research on it. Anyhow, if anybody else plays still plays this game and has whatever things to share about it, feel free to share.
James Naismith visited an Indiana basketball state finals game along with 15,000 screaming fans and later wrote, that while it was invented in Massachusetts, "basketball really had its origin in Indiana, which remains the center of the sport."

Very different games. The new NBA Jam is like the old arcade/16 bit era 2 on 2 arcade action.

NBA Jam 2000 was a 5 on 5 simulation no?

NBA Jam 2000 had Jam Mode as well, which was 2 on 2.

Was Kevin Harlan the announcer back then? I was watching a video of 2000 (because of this thread), and it sounded like him.
          My Specs:

          CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
          GPU: Monochrome display
