Yeah, EA has had the rights for how long now and has done nothing with it.
This more proof that they got the license only to prevent 2k from retiring their tired, same-ol same-ol release.
The one thing good about the current financial state, just like California, developers like 2k that have been locked up with exclusive licensing, are soon to be released.
The day is approaching and I can't wait for another developer to bring us some College B-Ball.
I wish 2k12's create-a-team was more fleshed out, to the point that we could create college team logos to get a glimps of how it would look.
I say patch the create-a-team to be more customizable (as far as logo/court/uniforms)

Your so right Khaliib. That really has to suck big time for EA. . . knowing they have the rights/licensing but can't do ANYTHING with them because they can't seem to put a basketball game together that would be remotely close to 2K's version on any front.
I myself was so tired of hearing EA's same-ol' 2-3 year cycle or whatever it was BS story they were feeding people just like they continue to feed their football fans lmao! ! !
What are you two talking about? EA never bought the CBB license. 2K deemed that it wasn't profitable enough and dropped out and EA happened to renew. Now neither of them find the license profitable, plus the lawsuits about players also impact their thoughts on whether or not to bring either series back. There was no EA vs 2K battle here, just a lack of demand honestly.

I feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.

Thank you!!!! I'm so sick of people turning things into, "EA monopoly/only if 2K" bashing thread!
oh, my other issue with this, besides it not being real, is the ridiculousness of some of the "one shining moment" monents...
2006 George Mason v. Connecticut โ "Start of the Mid-Major"... really? Besides the fact that, as a Uconn fan I can say without a doubt that they were vastly overrated that year and the George Mason upset, while bad, was hardly as monumental as some people made it out to be, the bigger issue is that Choops is calling this moment the "start of the Mid-Major"
really 2k? :P
For shame!
Apparently the good fake developers over in 2k Fantasy Land Studios have forgotten that a little team called Gonzaga began the real rise of the mid Majors 7 years earlier in 1999 when they reached the elite 8 as a 10th seed (and then ironically lost to the eventual champion UConn Huskies) and then continued to dominate the rising mid majors until essentially the present day.
If these high and mighty imaginary developers are trying to claim that 1) George Mason began the rise of the Mid-Majors and 2) That that game is one of the 16 best/most important/influential games in NCAA history, then I laugh at them, because I find those assertions to be quite ridiculous!
