I distinctly remember not caring about that game because how dare Michigan be ranked #20 and play an unranked team in a crappy bowl game. My, how times have changed - not only in my expectations, but in my attitude. -

Same here. The defense against Illinois was encouraging to say the least. If that unit plays like they did last week, I think the Michigan offense does enough to pull out the home win. Should be a great game.Comment

Does anyone know how this game impacts the Big 10 picture?
I don't even know which division(s) these teams are in.Comment

Here's the standings:
State 5-1
Michigan/Nebraska 4-2
Nebraska beat State, State beat Michigan. State plays Indiana and @Northwestern. Nebraska plays @Michigan and @Iowa. Michigan plays Nebraska and Ohio State.
It's State's to lose, but this game is huge for Nebraska in case State slips up at Northwestern.
Michigan has almost no chance.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 11-19-2011, 01:23 AM.Comment

I had this problem early on too. Teams that begin with M and N + Iowa are in the same division. Boom, problem solved.

BIG game for Michigan, and I think they get it done. I just don't see Nebraska winning 2 tough road games in consecutive weeks.
In fact, Nebraska has NEVER defeated 2 ranked opponents on the road in consecutive weeks.
I like Michigan's chances in this one. Let's go Blue.Comment
