Week: 11 - Cardinals (3-6) @ 49ers (8-1)
A home game vs the Cards. I see the 49ers winning this one and extending their NFC West lead. Although the Cardinals have won 2 in a row and lost by 3 to the Ravens before their mini win streak.

Thiis was as dominating a performance as there's been in the league this year, though the score doesn't reflect it. I'm pretty happy with everything except for all the fricking drops. We should have scored at least 40 points today, but left too many plays on the field.
Can't wait for Thursday night. Another chance to "prove" we belong on the national stage."In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."Comment

I was at this game and here's the view from my seat.
Spoiler
All in all, it was a great time, but as someone else in here said, the 49ers should have hung at least 60 on the Cardinals.Comment

I wouldn't worry about it.
You guys have a stifling defense and a methodical offense.
Sometimes that doesn't lead to "maximum" points, but it tends to minimize giveaways, which is the most important thing since your squad could probably win 10-0 if it had to.
23 points isn't bad (about league average) and 49ers score 25 per game on average.
Pretty much a typical day at the office for your team. Efficiency from Alex Smith, heavy use of the run game, played keep-a-way with the ball (45 min of possession!)"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: Week: 11 - Cardinals (3-6) @ 49ers (8-1)
I agree for the most
but they missed out on a lot of opportunities. There were three passes that should have been touchdowns, easily. Smith threw one high to Edwards who was wide open in the endzone, although I think Edwards should have caught that, Smith then threw a ball that was a tough catch for Davis and he would have scored if he would have been to his left shoulder and Smith just overthrew a wide open Crabtree in the endzone.
Either way... you're right, thanks to the D, their offense can afford to be off sometimes, but one game the D isn't going to play as well and the offense has to step up more.
It was just a flat out dominating performance no matter what the score says.
Can't wait to play the Ravens Thursday night, should be a great game.Comment

Re: Week: 11 - Cardinals (3-6) @ 49ers (8-1)
. They made some nice stops during the first half, but any team's D would have been gassed or lost all motivation after being the the field for 3 entire quarters.
The offense obviously was not ready. Once the again this team has some major QB issues. If their 5th round QB from Fordham could have come up with something better than a 10.5 QB rating, yesterday's game might have been a little different.Comment
