I am, its an awesome game, just started a new save as the Jets (not really a fan) Drafted Bush and traded for Vick!

i was the bears for maybe 6 years, and had hollywood matt as my qb, he wasnt that bad. iirc i had managed to acquire a couple of top ten in the frist draft. whole franchise was based on 3-4 defence with a really tuff front seven. secondary was meh as was passing but running was ok

i still play but its very time consuming and tedious so i play every now and than i drafted this rb name darius weeks and yes he is a beast!

Ya in my current career i have been with 6 teams and won 14 super bowls and i would perfer to play the old one because it is more about the operations of a football team then the 09 version and you can win more with the old one

I do, In head coach 09 the sim was long and you barley got to do anything.(ot atleast that's as far as I got until I got bored ;p)
With 06 you get to be the coach, do tasks, attend practices and games.

there were lots of things i liked about 06. substitutions by formation for example, so non starters were on special teams, olbs were at de spot in nickel formations, certain lbs were in for run stop and some others for coverage formations (by creating different formations of the same base play), dbs better at man were in man cover plays the ones better at zone in for zone, your heavy formations like jumbo or goaline you could default to OL backups etc. 09 has things that are better than 06 or 06 didnt have.

if only you could pick the best from those and add in some elements from madden and the add ons that the dedicated few created for 06 on pc; training camp, better scout/trade/draft logic etc, rookie pay etc

as Madden is becoming more & more an arcade game, could anyone tell me if this will play on a UK xbox 360

Hap, finding a copy is going to be the pain. we can play o6 on pc, not seen an xbox version otherwise i would have bought a copy. think us version only so you need a us xbox.

Really though due to the sliders the pc version makes for better gameplay. its been a year or so since i have played it but i really enjoyed it and had they made a true update based on it rather that a full rebuild i think 09 would have been a better game. as it is both games have so many areas that the other game does better that it is frustrating

I just picked up a used copy of Head Coach 06 and I love it. I am looking to do some hex editing to create the 07 draft. (In my game the Raiders don't have a QB problem so I want to see who gets stuck with JaMarcus Russell). Any input?

Also, what is a slider?
