Server Not Available..

the server not available error getting on my last nerve. i know the game just came out, but man, it was like this last year as well for the most part.

anybody else frustrated with this?

You have no idea, but as you said it was same way last year, and wasn't ever fixed. Don't expect it this year otherwise you will end with a broken heart my friend... on the bright sideeee, the game kicks asss(:

We found it will eventually let you in. For match invites, once you get the server error, choose the Xbox Live menu option again and it will put you into the private match (usually on the first retry).

But yeah, it is less than ideal to have to mess around with stuff like this. But we were able to play multiple private online matches last night despite the issue.

It bothered me a lot last night, too. I was only trying to download some CAWs from other users. It took over an hour and a lot of patience to get 6 guys for PS3.

Every time I try to download something, either I get the server error message or it freezes the second I click an item. Pissed/frustrated mode is about 40 out of 10 right now.

we didnt have issues setting up private matches so to speak, an error here and there, wasnt bad. shockingly, it was LAG free lol.. we had several 4 way TLC's and it was a blast.

i just couldnt get into the community creations, ugh..

i have the current WWE set up on my HDD, WWF Old School/Attitude Era getting set up on my 1st USB slot, and WCW getting set up on my 2nd USB slot..

tough to get going and on a roll when i cant access anything lol..

still debating on what to do though, i would love to have Raw/Nitro/ECW on one save, but there just isnt enough CAW slots to make fun. i mean, i guess i could do 20 wwe old school caws (or less bc of rock, austin etc being on game), 20 wcw caws, and then say 10 ecw caws..

bah, wish you could have more than 1 universe going on the HDD per profile.

Absolutely terrible to have this issue. It's like dialing a busy number and having to keep hitting redial. Then at times you get the tease of a ring only to get dun dun dun, were sorry all circuits are busy, please hang up and try again.

Really not helping a casual user from wanting to give them future sales. My main reason for buying this was to be able to dload past greats and incorporate them into the universe. Gameplay is solid, just this server issue is terrible.

Same here. At least the 2 matches I have played online have been pretty lag free. I'm really surprised this wasn't fixed as it was an issue last year as well. Hope the light bulb goes off in THQ somewhere and they fix this problem

i was able to get in to community creations 4 times in a row.. BUT, each time i clicked on a wrestler to download, it froze every single time. grr!!

Every time I get far enough to download something in community creations, I get the message. Then I have to go through all the steps again...frustrating as hell and far more unstable than last year even (I know the game just released, but still...).

EDIT: Sounds similar to what Fiddy experienced (except mine didn't freeze...just booted me). Hope it's at least improved some.

Did it eventually work last year to download community creations?
