I'd go Skyrim, but it's really up to you...Skyrim will be the longer game, if that matters to you. -

No online for either. Unless you are a HUGE Batman fan then go with Skyrim, but then again if you were a huge Batman fan you probably already would have played Batman. Skyrim is the better overall single player experience.Comment

I enjoyed Arkham City a lot, but the campaign is only but so long. I sent it back to Gamefly as soon as I finished it. Skyrim is huge. If I had to go with one, that would be my pick. I don't see myself beating it any time soon.Comment

I own both and they are both great.
Batman is a really fun game and if you are a fan then I would consider it a must own.
Skyrim will suck your social life away, fact. I've put in over 70+ hours and I'm about half way through the main story line. There is SO much to do in this game that you could easily hit level 40 or 50 and not even touch the main story. It's all up to you and your play style.
Bottom line is you can't go wrong with either title but Skyrim will last you months. Good luck in making a choice.Comment

Skyrim to me. I could not stomach Batman, felt like a clustered map pulling you in different directions while Skyrim exploration flows with the main and side quests.
I've put in around 35 hours so far in just wandering around and doing side quests in Skyrim and plan on making a new type of character after I finish everything. Oh and Skyrim,I would guess, willl be getting DLC stuff just like the Fallout series has in the past.Aaron

Skyrim hands down. There is just so much to do in Skyrim, you can easily play the game for a year straight.PSN: King10Sooted

Re: Skyrim vs Batman (for christmas) Which one?!?
I would take the opposite approach from everybody else. Buy Batman. If you never played a RPG before, Skyrim might overwhelm you with so many things to do and scare you away from the RPG genre.
Reason being, some people require structure, a set path, set objective, set goal. Too much freedom and they become lost, lose interest, go crazy.
The choice is yours.Comment

Re: Skyrim vs Batman (for christmas) Which one?!?
I feel like i've already gotten my money's worth from Skyrim and i've put about 20 hours or so into the game. I'd tell anyone I know to get that game.
However I hear many good things about Batman, but I hate playing games that aren't incredibly long and I feel I need to get my $$ out of a game but luckily I picked it up recently for $28Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
