I'm sure a lot of people thought they would be "unlocked" all at once if the lockout ended. This is saying that they will be rolled out in increments.

Hahaha ok, I'm excited, much respect to roster makers but it's not the same. Honestly, I'm kind of use to playing with the current rosters as is with no rookies.

Roster makers can put real rookies into their rosters once the lockout is over.

I wasn't sure about the timing. Do rookies typically sign their contracts after free agency begins? So some time between the 9th and 25th?

I was wondering about that. I took this statement as "We know the lockout's ending, but we still won't be able to add rookies until they sign". If they unlocked them in increments, wouldn't it be a series of official roster updates? Or are they going to be unlocked through some kind of patch?

I feel like if I were 2K, I'd wait until about a week into free agency (at least) and put out one big roster update.
