Re: **mkharsh33 - All-Conference Sliders""
mk,
I only had a chance to play 1 game last night. I used Ohio State and played Kentucky (10-11 rosters that I downloaded last year). I lost 86-71. The computer shot 58%, including 10-18 from 3-pt range. I shot 50%, but was only 5-17 from 3-pt range. I had some trouble getting open looks as it seemed that the defense closed in too quick, even when it appeared I had an open shot or could easily drive the lane. I know UK plays pretty good pressure defense so that could have attributed to that, but I'm still thinking of maybe dropping the defensive awareness or defensive help sliders down some. The rebounds worked out pretty good. I believe that I had about 8 or 9 offensive boards and they had around the same. Defensively, we were pretty close as well, somewhere in the mid-20s I think. I was able to grab a couple of clean steals, but was called for my share of reaches as well. I might turn down the inside, mid, and 3-pt success 1 point each as well to lower shot percentages. There were a few instances were they were able to make shots with ease despite me being right on top of them.
I may try a couple more games with this set before making any changes, but those are the tweaks I'm considering at this point. Also, the game felt a little fast and out of control at times. Here we go with the speed thing again though and not knowing exactly which slider does what. I liked the animations and how the game played out, I just felt that sometimes the players were a little out of control or a bit too fast. Maybe it's just me though. I am getting older and reactions aren't what they used to be. LOL
Overall though, I was pretty pleased with the sliders as a whole. I think this is a really good base set to work with with few tweaks necessary (at least for my playing style and skills). I'll let you know what happens in my next few games and if I make any changes or not.
