    (My personal) 16 Classic Matchups in NBA 2K13-MUST SEE!

    1. 1961-62 Warriors vs. Celtics - "nba finals rematch"
    (Chamberlain/50ppg, Paul Arizin) vs. (Cousy, Russell, Heinsohn, S. Jones)

    2. 1970-71 Lakers vs. Bucks - "great Lakers against best Bucks team"
    (West, Chamberlain, Baylor, etc.) vs. (Kareem and Oscar)

    3. 1972-73 Knicks vs. Celtics - "both teams were stacked"
    (Frazier, DeBusschere, Monroe, Reed, etc.) vs. (Havlicek, Cowens, White)

    4. 1976-77 Blazers vs. Sixers - "nba finals rematch"
    (Walton, Lucas, Hollins) vs. (Erving, McGinnis, Collins, World B. Free, etc.)

    5. 1977-78 Jazz vs. Warriors - "Pete Maravich against Rick Barry"

    These are the best 16 matchups that I could come up with that involves as many great teams and players as possible. Leave comments and let me know what you think. Maybe the developers for 2k13 will use a lot of these matchups for next years game!

      I think the best thing to do is quit this greatest mode thing and build a single game with only classic teams (40+ teams).
      Let us edit the shorts size, the calendar (how about random calendar? NBA Live had that) and also the number of teams that will participate in a season/association (if a want 24 teams in my season, why can`t I do that? NBA Live had that too).
      Plus classic arenas + classic presentation with commentary according to the historic team we would be playing... that would be an awesome game. It is about time 2K does something like this, people love classic teams, make a classic teams game only...
      Anyway, my 2 cents: 1988 Lakers x 1988 Jazz. That was a series.

          i think the best thing for them to do is put boosting legends mode on hold until they can figure out their new gamecode and make 2k13 completed when its released ONLINE and offline. 2k13 is as stripped down as they come this upcoming patch is gonna be almost 500mb i bet

          barkely and reggie miller refuse to be in 2k bball games also btw so no suns or pacers

              They can add the 91 suns (No Barkley) and a classic Pacers team without Reggie, who can be created easily.
              As for online, I really don`t care.

                  Anyways, I feel that they shouldn't put as much work into their legends modes again for 2k13 and rather sit down and work hard on their two major game modes: Association and MyPlayer.
                  The former hasn't been really updated in years and several of its elements are somewhat lacking (like team chemistry, player roles and morale).
                  The latter is now in its 3rd iteration and still has some serious flaws.
                  While both modes suffer heavily from weird trade logic this year and the default rosters and tendencies could also be much better.

                  I know my opponion is hardly the only one but I still feel that a lot of customers would benefit very much if these two modes got some major upgrades.
