Re: Seems like the Game knows more then I thought
Works both ways for players and coaches. I saw it last year when Newsome from Penn State transfered to Maryland while I was there and the headline read "Newsome's Revenge". The thing I didn't know, is that it does it for new players in the 2011 season as well. For instance, I started a new dynasty with KSU and the headline read for the Miami game "Miami is going to wish they did more to keep Brown". Definitely caught my attention. Went to google and looked it up, and behold the game was right. He left Miami in Feb 2010 and enrolled at KSU May 2010 and became eligible this season. Interesting how they can get SOME of the little things working great, but the MAJOR things get screwed up beyond belief. Oh well.NBA Chicago Bulls

Re: Seems like the Game knows more then I thought
I saw one in week 1 of our OD year 3... it said something to the effect of "player X looks to shine in Gainesville after recruiting snub" when one of our users with USF had a stud freshman WR and was going to play Florida in Gainesville.
thought that was pretty cool. that is the only thing I've seen like that/this.Comment

I've also seen a similar thing as a coach. I was head coach at UNLV for 4 years then took the head coach position at Missouri. Having recruited and naturally becomming attached to UNLV at that point, I decided a game vs. my old school was a must. Headline stated something along the lines of 'Coach facing his old team'. Pretty cool little feature.Comment

Yeah I'm currently playing NCAAFB 08 and I see that also. It'll make a note when a transferred player plays his original team, or just the player is having a really good year.Works both ways for players and coaches. Re: Seems like the Game knows more then I thought
ah the older games were so great, the NCAA with Larry Fiztgerald on the cover had a great moment in my book when I won a split national championship and the SI cover said Controversy? and had my coach yelling on the cover. I went tape to tape #2 rank as Texas, Miami was #3 for most of the season, ND was #1 and lost early to Michigan but moved back to #3 and beat a top 5 USC at the end of the season. the final BCS rankings going into bowl season had ND jump to #2, Miami jumped to #1 and I fell to #3 with the tiniest of margins in BCS rankings despite being ranked #2 in the 2 polls. so you had ND wins title game as 11-1 team, I take #2 with a 12-0 team and Miami dropped to 11-1. I finished ranked #1 in AP poll and thus the split championship.
I was pissed but thought it was cool.Comment

I think this game repeats it's self bc on last years version a buddy and I had a dynasty going he was Maryland I was Baylor, and newsom transfered to Maryland as well. Just thought that was a cool coincidence.Works both ways for players and coaches.
