Well, what would you expect really? They tell the kid he's the prime cog in a "dream team". Richt ran a mock offensive set that was missing a running back, telling Crowell that all they needed now was him. They got rid of their most experienced backs making sure he'd have as little competition as possible. They even gave his no star buddy Cootie on scholarship just to get him. They basically told this kid that he was THE man and UGA was HIS.
There are very few 17-18 year old male athletes who could take all that and stay humble.
